利百加有一個哥哥，名叫拉班，看見金環，又看見金鐲在他妹子的手上，並聽見他妹子利百加的話，說那人對我如此如此說。拉班就跑出來往井旁去，到那人跟前，見他仍站在駱駝旁邊的井旁那裏，

這八個人都是密迦給亞伯拉罕的兄弟拿鶴生的。

以撒便領利百加進了他母親撒拉的帳棚，娶了她為妻，並且愛她。以撒自從他母親不在了，這才得了安慰。

你要在耶和華－你神面前說：『我祖原是一個將亡的亞蘭人，下到埃及寄居。他人口稀少，在那裏卻成了又大又強、人數很多的國民。

夜間，神到亞蘭人拉班那裏，在夢中對他說：「你要小心，不可與雅各說好說歹。」

又帶着他在巴旦‧亞蘭所得的一切牲畜和財物，往迦南地、他父親以撒那裏去了。

雅各背着亞蘭人拉班偷走了，並不告訴他，

以撒打發雅各走了，他就往巴旦‧亞蘭去，到亞蘭人彼土利的兒子拉班那裏。拉班是雅各、以掃的母舅。以掃見以撒已經給雅各祝福，而且打發他往巴旦‧亞蘭去，在那裏娶妻，並見祝福的時候囑咐他說：「不要娶迦南的女子為妻」，

雅各從巴旦‧亞蘭回來，神又向他顯現，賜福與他，

先知以利沙的時候，以色列中有許多長大痲瘋的，但內中除了敘利亞國的乃縵，沒有一個得潔淨的。」
