这八个人都是密迦给亚伯拉罕的兄弟拿鹤生的。

以撒便领利百加进了他母亲撒拉的帐棚，娶了她为妻，并且爱她。以撒自从他母亲不在了，这才得了安慰。

你要在耶和华你神面前说：‘我祖原是一个将亡的亚兰人，下到埃及寄居。他人口稀少，在那里却成了又大又强、人数很多的国民。

夜间，神到亚兰人拉班那里，在梦中对他说：“你要小心，不可与雅各说好说歹。”

雅各背着亚兰人拉班偷走了，并不告诉他，

以撒打发雅各走了，他就往巴旦亚兰去，到亚兰人彼土利的儿子拉班那里。拉班是雅各、以扫的母舅。以扫见以撒已经给雅各祝福，而且打发他往巴旦亚兰去，在那里娶妻，并见祝福的时候嘱咐他说：“不要娶迦南的女子为妻”，

雅各从巴旦亚兰回来，神又向他显现，赐福与他，

先知以利沙的时候，以色列中有许多长大麻风的，但内中除了叙利亚国的乃缦，没有一个得洁净的。”
