The man gazed at her in silence to learn whether the Lord had prospered his journey or not.

The servant watched her in silence, wondering whether or not the Lord had given him success in his mission.

他说：“耶和华—我主人亚伯拉罕的上帝啊，求你施恩给我的主人亚伯拉罕，让我今日就遇见吧！

凡有智慧的必在这些事上留心，他必思想耶和华的慈爱。

于是大卫王进去，坐在耶和华面前，说：“主耶和华啊，我是谁，我的家算什么，你竟带领我到这地步呢？主耶和华啊，这在你眼中还看为小，你又说到你仆人的家将来的情况。主耶和华啊，这岂是人的常理吗？大卫还有什么可以对你说呢？主耶和华啊，你是知道你仆人的。

马利亚却把这一切的事存在心里，反覆思考。

他就同他们下去，回到拿撒勒，并且顺从他们。他母亲把这一切的事都存在心里。

我爱耶和华，因为他听了我的声音和我的恳求。他既向我侧耳，我一生要求告他。死亡的绳索勒住我，阴间的痛苦抓住我，我遭遇患难愁苦。那时，我求告耶和华的名：“耶和华啊，求你救我！”耶和华有恩惠，有公义，我们的上帝有怜悯。耶和华保护愚蒙的人；我落到卑微的地步，他救了我。我的心哪！你要复归安宁，因为耶和华用厚恩待你。

但愿人因耶和华的慈爱和他向人所做的奇事都称谢他；

仆人对他们说：“耶和华既然使我道路亨通，你们就不要耽误我，请让我走，回我主人那里去吧！”

我要时时称颂耶和华，赞美他的话常在我口中。我的心必因耶和华夸耀，谦卑的人听见就喜乐。你们要和我一同尊耶和华为大，让我们一同高举他的名。我曾寻求耶和华，他就应允我，救我脱离一切的恐惧。仰望他的人，就有光荣；他们的脸必不蒙羞。这困苦人呼求，耶和华就垂听，救他脱离一切的患难。

你们要称谢耶和华，因他本为善，他的慈爱永远长存！

但愿人因耶和华的慈爱和他向人所做的奇事都称谢他；
