亞伯蘭有牲畜金銀極多。

那少女說：『我主請喝』；就急忙把她的瓶子放下來，托在手上給他喝。

拉結對她父親說：『我主眼中、請不要生氣我不能在你面前起來；因為我正有婦人事兒。』這樣，拉班搜尋來搜尋去，竟沒有把家神像找出來。

當那時候，亞比米勒同他的軍長非各對亞伯拉罕說：『在你所作的一切事上、上帝都和你同在。

路得說：『我主啊，但願蒙你賞臉；我雖不及你的一個婢女，你還安慰我，還和你婢女談心。』

永恆主這麼說：『埃及勞碌得來的、和古實所得之利、以及身量高大的西巴人、都必過來歸你，屬於你，必帶着鎖鍊過來跟從你，向你下拜，向你祈求，說：「上帝真地在你中間，再沒有別的神；沒有別的上帝。」』

你看，我們從前在我們布袋口所見着的銀子，我們尚且從迦南地帶來還你，我們怎能從你主人家裏偷竊銀子或金子呢？

亞倫說：『求我主不要生氣；你認識這人民，知道他們是一味作壞事的。
