亚伯拉罕听了，就照以弗仑在赫提子孙们面前所说的银价，给他称了四百谢克尔商用的银子。

亞伯拉罕同意以弗崙說的價銀，就照著他在赫人面前所說的，拿商人通用的銀子，稱了四百塊（四千五百克）銀子給以弗崙。

亞伯拉罕聽從了以弗崙；就平了銀子給以弗崙，就是他在赫人聽得到的地方所說的，平商人通用的銀子四百舍客勒。

亞伯拉罕聽了，就照以弗崙在赫提子孫們面前所說的銀價，給他稱了四百謝克爾商用的銀子。

Abraham agreed to Ephron’s terms and weighed out for him the price he had named in the hearing of the Hittites: four hundred shekels of silver, according to the weight current among the merchants.

Abraham agreed to Ephron’s offer. He weighed out for Ephron the price he had named. The Hittites there had heard the amount. The price was ten pounds of silver. Abraham measured it by the weights that were used by merchants.

Abraham listened to Ephron, and Abraham weighed out for Ephron the silver that he had named in the hearing of the Hittites, four hundred shekels of silver, according to the weights current among the merchants.

So Abraham agreed to Ephron’s price and paid the amount he had suggested— 400 pieces of silver, weighed according to the market standard. The Hittite elders witnessed the transaction.

Abraham agreed with Ephron, and Abraham weighed out to Ephron the silver that he had agreed to in the hearing of the Hethites: four hundred standard shekels of silver.

Abraham listened to Ephron; and Abraham weighed out for Ephron the silver which he had named in the presence of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, currency acceptable to a merchant.

And Abraham listened to Ephron; and Abraham weighed out the silver for Ephron which he had named in the hearing of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, currency of the merchants.

And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the audience of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.

Abraham agreed with Ephron, and Abraham weighed out to Ephron the silver that he had agreed to in the presence of the Hittites: 400 shekels of silver at the current commercial rate.

And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current[ money] with the merchant.

So Abraham agreed to Ephron’s price and weighed out for him the price that Ephron had quoted in the hearing of the sons of Heth– 400 pieces of silver, according to the standard measurement at the time.

Abraham listened to Ephron. Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the hearing of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, according to the current merchants’ standard.

我對他們說：「你們若看為美，就給我工價。不然，就罷了！」於是他們秤了三十塊銀錢作為我的工價。

「我便向我叔父的兒子哈拿篾買了亞拿突的那塊地，秤了十七舍客勒銀子給他。

你們除了彼此相愛，對任何人都不可虧欠甚麼，因為那愛人的就成全了律法。

把王和謀士、軍官，並在那裏的以色列眾人為我們神殿所獻的金銀和器皿，都秤了交給他們。我秤了交在他們手中的有六百五十他連得銀子，一百他連得銀器，一百他連得金子，二十個金碗，值一千達利克，上等光亮的銅器皿兩個，珍貴如金。我對他們說：「你們歸耶和華為聖，器皿也歸為聖；金銀是甘心獻給耶和華－你們列祖之神的。你們要警醒看守，直到你們在祭司長和利未族長，以及以色列的各族長面前，在耶路撒冷耶和華殿的庫房內，把這些過了秤。」於是，祭司和利未人把秤過的金銀和器皿接過來，要帶到耶路撒冷我們神的殿裏。

所以，無論何事，你們想要人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人，因為這就是律法和先知的道理。」

一舍客勒是二十季拉；二十舍客勒，二十五舍客勒，十五舍客勒，合起來為你們的一彌那。

末了，弟兄們，凡是真實的、凡是可敬的、凡是公義的、凡是清潔的、凡是可愛的、凡是有美名的，若有甚麼德行，若有甚麼稱讚，你們都要留意。

智慧不可用黃金換取，也不能用白銀秤她的價值。

每一個被數的人要按照聖所的舍客勒，付半舍客勒，一舍客勒是二十季拉；這半舍客勒是獻給耶和華的禮物。

後來到了住宿的地方，我們打開袋子，看哪，各人的銀子還在自己的袋口上，銀子的分量一點不少。現在我們親手把它帶回來，

「我主請聽。四百舍客勒銀子的地，在你我中間算甚麼呢？只管埋葬你的死人吧！」

不准有人在這事上越軌，佔他弟兄的便宜；因為這一類的事，主必報應，正如我預先對你們說過，又切切警告過你們的。
