亚劳拿看见王及他的臣仆来了，就上前俯伏在地，向王跪拜，说：“我主我王到仆人这里有什么事？”大卫说：“我要买你的麦场，好在这里为耶和华筑一座坛，使百姓当中的瘟疫止住。”亚劳拿说：“我主我王喜欢什么，就拿去献祭吧。这里有牛可以作燔祭，还有麦场的工具和牛轭可以作柴。王啊，仆人亚劳拿愿意把这一切都献给你，愿你的上帝耶和华悦纳你。”王却说：“不可，我一定要出钱买，我不愿意用白白得来之物作为燔祭献给我的上帝耶和华。”大卫就用六百克银子买了亚劳拿的麦场和牛。

‘看啊，你叔父沙龙的儿子哈拿篾会去找你，让你买下他在亚拿突的那块田地，说你是他的近亲，理当买下它。’”果然如耶和华所言，我堂兄弟哈拿篾到护卫兵的院子里对我说：“我在便雅悯境内的亚拿突有一块田，求你买下它，因为你理当买下它。求你买下吧！”我知道这是耶和华的旨意。于是，我从堂兄弟哈拿篾手里买了亚拿突的那块田。我当着证人的面签订了契约，封好，秤了二百克银子给他。

波阿斯来到城门口，坐在那里，恰巧看见他所说的那位至亲经过，便招呼他说：“某人啊，请过来坐一坐。”那人便走过来坐下。

“如果人犯了什么罪或有什么过失，不可凭一个证人作证就定罪，要有两三个证人才可以定案。

我想应该让你知道这件事。你最有权赎那块地，其次才是我，此外再没有别人了。如果你愿意赎回那块地，希望你当着在座各位长老的面表明。如果不愿意，请你让我知道。”那人说：“我愿意赎。”

聚集在城门口的众人和长老都说：“我们愿意作证。愿耶和华使要进你家门的这女子，像建立以色列家的拉结和利亚一样。愿你在以法他家业兴隆，在伯利恒声名远播。

大卫对他说：“请你将这块麦场卖给我，我要在这里为耶和华筑一座祭坛，好止住民间的瘟疫。你全价卖给我吧。”阿珥楠说：“我主我王只管用我的麦场！我愿献出牛作燔祭，打麦的器具作柴，麦子作素祭，我愿献出这一切。”大卫王说：“不可，我一定要付你全价，我不能拿你的东西献给耶和华，不能把白白得来的献作燔祭。”

波阿斯向长老和所有在场的人说：“请各位今天为我作证，所有属于以利米勒、基连和玛伦的产业，我都从拿俄米手上买了。

“‘倘若有人被控谋杀，必须有几个人作证才可以处死他，不可凭一个人的证词处死他。

“接着，他吩咐站在旁边的奴仆，‘收回他那一千个银币，赏给那个赚了一万银币的。’

高尚的人计划高尚的事，在高尚的事上持之以恒。

“我主，请听我们说，你在我们中间是一位尊贵的王子，你可以选我们这里最好的坟地，没有人会反对你使用他的坟地埋葬你的妻子。”

但你们不可单凭一个证人便处死那人，要有两三个证人方可处死他。

都归了亚伯拉罕。这是在城门口的赫人面前买下的。
