那人豈不是親自對我說：「她是我的妹妹」麼？就是那女人、也親自說：「他是我哥哥」呀：我作這事、是心端正手無辜的。』

那人岂不是自己对我说‘她是我的妹子’吗？就是女人也自己说：‘他是我的哥哥。’我做这事是心正手洁的。”

那人岂不是自己对我说‘她是我妹妹’吗？连这女人自己也说：‘他是我哥哥。’我做这事是心正手洁的。”

那人岂不是自己对我说‘她是我妹妹’吗？连这女人自己也说：‘他是我哥哥。’我做这事是心正手洁的。”

那人亲口对我说这女人是他妹妹，她也说那人是她哥哥。我问心无愧，没有做错。”

那人岂不是自己对我说：‘她是我的妹妹’吗？就是那女人自己也说：‘他是我的哥哥’。我作这事，是手洁心清的。”

那人难道不是对我说‘她是我的妹妹’吗？连那女人自己也说‘他是我的哥哥’。我做这事心纯手洁。”

那人豈不是自己對我說『她是我妹妹』嗎？連這女人自己也說：『他是我哥哥。』我做這事是心正手潔的。」

彼非對我稱婦為妹、婦亦稱之為兄乎、我之為此、心正手潔、

彼非稱婦為妹、婦稱夫為兄乎。我之為此、心本純良、手無污衊。

彼曾與我言、婦為爾妹、婦亦言、彼為我兄、我之行此心正手潔、

Did he not say to me,‘ She is my sister,’ and didn’t she also say,‘ He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands.”

Didn’t Abraham say to me,‘ She’s my sister’? And didn’t she also say,‘ He’s my brother’? I had no idea I was doing anything wrong.”

Did he not himself say to me,‘ She is my sister’? And she herself said,‘ He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this.”

Didn’t Abraham tell me,‘ She is my sister’? And she herself said,‘ Yes, he is my brother.’ I acted in complete innocence! My hands are clean.”

Didn’t he himself say to me,‘ She is my sister’? And she herself said,‘ He is my brother.’ I did this with a clear conscience and clean hands.”

Did he himself not say to me,‘ She is my sister’? And she herself said,‘ He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this.”

Did he not say to me,‘ she is my sister’? And she, even she herself said,‘ He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and innocence of my hands I have done this.”

Said he not himself unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and the innocency of my hands have I done this.

Didn’t he himself say to me,‘ She is my sister’? And she herself said,‘ He is my brother.’ I did this with a clear conscience and clean hands.”

Said he not unto me, She[ is] my sister? and she, even she herself said, He[ is] my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.

Did Abraham not say to me,‘ She is my sister’? And she herself said,‘ He is my brother.’ I have done this with a clear conscience and with innocent hands!”

Didn’t he tell me,‘ She is my sister’? She, even she herself, said,‘ He is my brother.’ I have done this in the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands.”

至於你呢，你如果以純全的心正正直直地行於我面前，像你父親大衛那樣行：照我一切所吩咐你的去作，謹守我的律例典章，

永恆主為萬族之民行裁判；永恆主啊，求你按我的理直按我心中的純全為我申正義。

依純全之道而行的義人——他的後代子孫有福啊。

我的上帝差遣了他的使者、封住獅子的口，叫獅子不傷害我；因為我在上帝面前他都見我無辜；在你面前、王啊，我也沒有行過害人的事。』

「我，我純潔、無罪過；我清白，我心裏無罪愆。

就是手潔心清，意念不仰仗虛謊，起誓不懷詭詐的：

『大能者上帝永恆主！大能者上帝永恆主！他是知道的；願以色列人也知道；如果有背叛的意思，如果是對永恆主不忠實，（但願你今日不拯救我們）

雖則我先前是謗讟、逼迫、損害者。然而我蒙了憐憫，因為我是在不信中愚蒙而作的，

於是大衛憑他心中的純全來牧養他們，用他手腕的靈巧來引導他們。

我的上帝啊，我知道是你察驗人心，喜悅正直；至於我呢、我也以正直的心自願奉獻這一切；現在呢、我很歡喜見你那在這裏的人民都甘心自願地奉獻與你。

正直人的純全引導着他們；奸詐人的暴戾將他們毁滅。

『哦，永恆主啊，求你記得：我怎樣以純全的心忠誠誠地在你面前往來，又怎樣行你所看為善的事。』禱告完了，希西家就大哭一場。

願純全正直守護着我，因為我切候着你。

永恆主啊，我要洗手表明無辜，才來繞行你的祭壇，

你們可以作見證，上帝也可以作證：我們待你們信的人是何等虔聖、正義、無可責備啊。

我們所誇耀的是這一點：我們良知的明證指出我們在世界上之起居為人、是怎樣本着上帝所賜的聖善和純潔，不是本着屬肉體的智慧，乃是本着上帝的恩；對於你們、更是如此。

唉，我保持我心純潔、實在無用。我洗手表明無辜，也是徒然。
