For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner— those who are not your offspring.

It must be done for all time to come. Every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised. That includes those who are born into your own family or outside it. It also includes those bought with money from a stranger.

He who is eight days old among you shall be circumcised. Every male throughout your generations, whether born in your house or bought with your money from any foreigner who is not of your offspring,

From generation to generation, every male child must be circumcised on the eighth day after his birth. This applies not only to members of your family but also to the servants born in your household and the foreign born servants whom you have purchased.

Throughout your generations, every male among you is to be circumcised at eight days old— every male born in your household or purchased from any foreigner and not your offspring.

And every male among you who is eight days old shall be circumcised throughout your generations, including a slave who is born in the house or who is bought with money from any foreigner, who is not of your descendants.

第八天，嬰兒要接受割禮。

在第八天，嬰孩接受了割禮，祂的名字叫耶穌，是瑪麗亞懷孕前天使取的。

我出生後第八天就受了割禮，我是以色列人，屬於便雅憫支派，是道道地地的希伯來人。論守律法，我是法利賽人；

到了第八天，他們來給孩子行割禮，想照他父親的名字給他取名叫撒迦利亞。

跟你們住在一起的外族人如果想為耶和華守逾越節，他全家的男子都必須接受割禮，這樣才可以像以色列人一樣守逾越節，但沒有接受割禮的人絕不可吃逾越節的羊羔。本地人和在你們中間寄居的外族人都要遵守這規矩。」

上帝又賜下割禮作為祂與亞伯拉罕立約的憑據。亞伯拉罕在以撒出生後的第八天為他行割禮。照樣，以撒為他的兒子雅各行了割禮，雅各也為他的兒子——以色列十二位先祖行了割禮。

亞伯拉罕就在那天照著上帝的吩咐，為兒子以實瑪利和家中所有的男子，不論是在家中出生的，還是買回來的，都行了割禮。

因為徒具外表的猶太人不是真正的猶太人，身體上的割禮也不是真正的割禮。

以撒出生後第八天，亞伯拉罕就照著上帝的吩咐為他行了割禮。

摩西把割禮傳給你們，你們也在安息日行割禮。其實割禮不是摩西定的，而是從祖先們的時代就有了。為了避免違背摩西的律法，行割禮的那一天就算是安息日，你們還是照行。那麼，我在安息日使一個病人完全康復，你們為什麼責怪我呢？
