So after Abram had lived in Canaan for ten years, Sarai, Abram’s wife, gave Hagar, her Egyptian servant, to her husband to be his wife.

其居迦南已歷十載、妻撒勑令納埃及婢夏甲、

時、亞伯蘭居迦南地、已歷十年、妻撒萊以伊及婢夏甲、進於夫為妾、

So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his wife took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife.

His wife Sarai gave him her slave Hagar to be his wife. That was after he had been living in Canaan for ten years.

So, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, and gave her to Abram her husband as a wife.

So Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian servant and gave her to Abram as a wife.( This happened ten years after Abram had settled in the land of Canaan.)

So Abram’s wife, Sarai, took Hagar, her Egyptian slave, and gave her to her husband, Abram, as a wife for him. This happened after Abram had lived in the land of Canaan ten years.

And so after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, Abram’s wife Sarai took Hagar the Egyptian, her slave woman, and gave her to her husband Abram as his wife.

Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan.

So Abram left, just as the LORD had told him to do, and Lot went with him.( Now Abram was 75 years old when he departed from Haran.)And Abram took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, and all the possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran, and they left for the land of Canaan. They entered the land of Canaan.

Then Sarai said to Abram,“ You have brought this wrong on me! I allowed my servant to have sexual relations with you, but when she realized that she was pregnant, she despised me. May the LORD judge between you and me!”

But while he was still alive, Abraham gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them off to the east, away from his son Isaac.

During the night Jacob quickly took his two wives, his two female servants, and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.

When Leah saw that she had stopped having children, she gave her servant Zilpah to Jacob as a wife.

In those days Israel had no king. There was a Levite living temporarily in the remote region of the Ephraimite hill country. So Rachel gave him her servant Bilhah as a wife, and Jacob had marital relations with her.

While Israel was living in that land, Reuben had sexual relations with Bilhah, his father’s concubine, and Israel heard about it. Jacob had twelve sons:
