She called the name of Yahweh who spoke to her,“ You are a God who sees,” for she said,“ Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”

夏甲就称那对她说话的耶和华为“看顾人的神”。因而说：“在这里我也看见那看顾我的吗？”

夏甲就称那向她说话的耶和华为“你是看见的上帝”，因为她说：“他看见了我之后，我还能在这里看见他吗？”

夏甲称对她说话的耶和华为“看顾人的上帝”，她说：“我竟然在这里看见了看顾我的上帝。”

于是，夏甲给那对她说话的耶和华，起名叫“你是看顾人的神”，因为她说：“在这里我不是也看见了那位看顾人的吗？”

夏甲就称那对她说话的耶和华为“你是看顾的神”，因为她说：“我竟然在这里见到了看顾我的那一位！”

夏甲就稱那對她說話的耶和華為「看顧人的神」。因而說：「在這裏我也看見那看顧我的嗎？」

夏甲就稱那向她說話的耶和華為「你是看見的上帝」，因為她說：「他看見了我之後，我還能在這裏看見他嗎？」

夏甲稱對她說話的耶和華為「看顧人的上帝」，她說：「我竟然在這裡看見了看顧我的上帝。」

於是，夏甲給那對她說話的耶和華，起名叫“你是看顧人的神”，因為她說：“在這裡我不是也看見了那位看顧人的嗎？”

於是夏甲稱那對她說話的永恆主叫「你是看見萬事的上帝」，因為她說：『連在這裏我也居然看見那看着我的麼？』

夏甲就稱那對她說話的耶和華為「你是看顧的神」，因為她說：「我竟然在這裡見到了看顧我的那一位！」

夏甲蒙耶和華諭、則稱其名曰監人之上帝、蓋曰、我豈於此、瞻仰夫監我者乎、

夏甲既蒙耶和華所諭、則稱其名曰、爾乃監我之上帝。蓋曰、我非於此、以景仰夫監我者乎、

夏甲蒙主諭示、即籲主名曰、爾乃俯鑒我之天主、蓋曰、主俯鑒我後、得瞻仰主、

She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her:“ You are the God who sees me,” for she said,“ I have now seen the One who sees me.”

She gave a name to the Lord who spoke to her. She called him“ You are the God who sees me.” That’s because she said,“ I have now seen the One who sees me.”

So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her,“ You are a God of seeing,” for she said,“ Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.”

Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said,“ You are the God who sees me.” She also said,“ Have I truly seen the One who sees me?”

So she named the LORD who spoke to her:“ You are El-roi,” for she said,“ In this place, have I actually seen the one who sees me?”

Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her,“ You are a God who sees me”; for she said,“ Have I even seen Him here and lived after He saw me?”

Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said,“ Have I also here seen Him who sees me?”

And she called the name of Jehovah that spake unto her, Thou art a God that seeth: for she said, Have I even here looked after him that seeth me?

So she called the Lord who spoke to her: The God Who Sees, for she said,“ In this place, have I actually seen the One who sees me?”

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

So Hagar named the LORD who spoke to her,“ You are the God who sees me,” for she said,“ Here I have seen one who sees me!”

Jacob called the name of the place Peniel; for he said,“ I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”

Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me.You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether.You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me.This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it.Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there!If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea,even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me.If I say,“ Surely the darkness will overwhelm me. The light around me will be night,”even the darkness doesn’t hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you.

For the ways of man are before Yahweh’s eyes. He examines all his paths.

Yahweh’s angel found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.

Yahweh’s eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Yahweh’s angel said to her,“ Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.”Yahweh’s angel said to her,“ I will greatly multiply your offspring, that they will not be counted for multitude.”

Unless the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now you would have sent me away empty. God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked you last night.”

He was afraid, and said,“ How awesome this place is! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”

Then Gideon built an altar there to Yahweh, and called it“ Yahweh is Peace.” To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

Abraham called the name of that place“ Yahweh Will Provide”. As it is said to this day,“ On Yahweh’s mountain, it will be provided.”

Yahweh descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed Yahweh’s name.Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed,“ Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin; and who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the children’s children, on the third and on the fourth generation.”

Moses said,“ Please show me your glory.”He said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim Yahweh’s name before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”He said,“ You cannot see my face, for man may not see me and live.”Yahweh also said,“ Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock.It will happen, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand until I have passed by;then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back; but my face shall not be seen.”
