And she called the name of Jehovah that spake unto her, Thou art a God that seeth: for she said, Have I even here looked after him that seeth me?

夏甲称对她说话的耶和华为“看顾人的上帝”，她说：“我竟然在这里看见了看顾我的上帝。”

于是，夏甲给那对她说话的耶和华，起名叫“你是看顾人的神”，因为她说：“在这里我不是也看见了那位看顾人的吗？”

夏甲就称那对她说话的耶和华为“你是看顾的神”，因为她说：“我竟然在这里见到了看顾我的那一位！”

夏甲就稱那對她說話的耶和華為「看顧人的神」。因而說：「在這裏我也看見那看顧我的嗎？」

於是夏甲稱那對她說話的永恆主叫「你是看見萬事的上帝」，因為她說：『連在這裏我也居然看見那看着我的麼？』

夏甲就稱那對她說話的耶和華為「你是看顧的神」，因為她說：「我竟然在這裡見到了看顧我的那一位！」

夏甲蒙耶和華諭、則稱其名曰監人之上帝、蓋曰、我豈於此、瞻仰夫監我者乎、

夏甲既蒙耶和華所諭、則稱其名曰、爾乃監我之上帝。蓋曰、我非於此、以景仰夫監我者乎、

夏甲蒙主諭示、即籲主名曰、爾乃俯鑒我之天主、蓋曰、主俯鑒我後、得瞻仰主、

She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her:“ You are the God who sees me,” for she said,“ I have now seen the One who sees me.”

She gave a name to the Lord who spoke to her. She called him“ You are the God who sees me.” That’s because she said,“ I have now seen the One who sees me.”

So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her,“ You are a God of seeing,” for she said,“ Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.”

Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said,“ You are the God who sees me.” She also said,“ Have I truly seen the One who sees me?”

So she named the LORD who spoke to her:“ You are El-roi,” for she said,“ In this place, have I actually seen the one who sees me?”

Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her,“ You are a God who sees me”; for she said,“ Have I even seen Him here and lived after He saw me?”

Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said,“ Have I also here seen Him who sees me?”

So she called the Lord who spoke to her: The God Who Sees, for she said,“ In this place, have I actually seen the One who sees me?”

And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?

So Hagar named the LORD who spoke to her,“ You are the God who sees me,” for she said,“ Here I have seen one who sees me!”

She called the name of Yahweh who spoke to her,“ You are a God who sees,” for she said,“ Have I even stayed alive after seeing him?”

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for, said he, I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

O Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known me.Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, And art acquainted with all my ways.For there is not a word in my tongue, But, lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.Thou hast beset me behind and before, And laid thy hand upon me.Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain unto it.Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? For the ways of man are before the eyes of Jehovah; And he maketh level all his paths.

And the angel of Jehovah found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

The eyes of Jehovah are in every place, Keeping watch upon the evil and the good.

And the angel of Jehovah said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.And the angel of Jehovah said unto her, I will greatly multiply thy seed, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the Fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely now hadst thou sent me away empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labor of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.

And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

Then Gideon built an altar there unto Jehovah, and called it Jehovah- shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah- jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of Jehovah it shall be provided.

And he said, Show me, I pray thee, thy glory.And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and will proclaim the name of Jehovah before thee; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.And he said, Thou canst not see my face; for man shall not see me and live.and Jehovah said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon the rock:and it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand until I have passed by:and I will take away my hand, and thou shalt see my back; but my face shall not be seen.
