He also said to him,“ I am the LORD who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，曾领你出了迦勒底的吾珥，为要将这地赐你为业。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，我带你离开了迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这片土地赐给你。”

耶和华又对亚伯兰说：“我是耶和华，曾经把你从迦勒底的吾珥领出来，为要把这地赐给你作产业。”

耶和华对他说：“我是耶和华，我把你从迦勒底人的吾珥领出来，为要将这地赐给你，使你拥有它。”

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為要將這地賜你為業。」

耶和華又對他說：「我是耶和華，曾領你出迦勒底的吾珥，為要把這地賜你為業。」

永恆主又對亞伯蘭說：『我是永恆主，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為的是要將這地賜給你，使你取得它為基業。』

耶和華對他說：「我是耶和華，我把你從迦勒底人的吾珥領出來，為要將這地賜給你，使你擁有它。」

又曰、我乃耶和華、昔挈爾出迦勒底之吾珥、將以此地、賜爾承之、

耶和華曰、我乃耶和華、昔攜爾出迦勒底之耳者、蓋欲以此地、賜爾得之。

主又諭之曰、我乃耶和華、曾攜爾出迦勒底之吾珥者、欲以此地賜爾為業、

He also said to him,“ I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to take possession of it.”

He also said to Abram,“ I am the Lord. I brought you out of Ur in the land of Babylon. I will give you this land to have as your very own.”

And he said to him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

Then the Lord told him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land as your possession.”

And He said to him,“ I am the Lord who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess it.”

Then He said to him,“ I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

And he said unto him, I am Jehovah that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

He also said to him,“ I am Yahweh who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

And he said unto him, I[ am] the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

The LORD said to him,“ I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess.”

He said to Abram,“ I am Yahweh who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.”

You, the LORD, are the God who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans, and changed his name to Abraham.You found his heart faithful in your sight, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, Hethites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites, and Girgashites— to give it to his descendants. You have fulfilled your promise, for you are righteous.

“ Brothers and fathers,” he replied,“ listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he settled in Haran,and said to him: Leave your country and relatives, and come to the land that I will show you.“ Then he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. From there, after his father died, God had him move to this land in which you are now living.

He gave them the lands of the nations, and they inherited what other peoples had worked for.

For he remembered his holy promise to Abraham his servant.

The LORD said to Abram: Go from your land, your relatives, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you.

“ I will give the land of Canaan to you as your inherited portion.”

The LORD appeared to Abram and said,“ To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the LORD who had appeared to him.

for I will give you and your offspring forever all the land that you see.I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted.Get up and walk around the land, through its length and width, for I will give it to you.”

For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

Haran died in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans, during his father Terah’s lifetime.Abram and Nahor took wives: Abram’s wife was named Sarai, and Nahor’s wife was named Milcah. She was the daughter of Haran, the father of both Milcah and Iscah.Sarai was unable to conceive; she did not have a child.Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot( Haran’s son), and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they set out together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan. But when they came to Haran, they settled there.
