As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried at a good old age.

但你要享大寿数，平平安安地归到你列祖那里，被人埋葬。

而你必享长寿，安然离世。

你必得享长寿，被人埋葬，平平安安地回到你列祖那里。

至于你，你必平平安安地归到你祖先那里，你必尽享天年，才被安葬。

但你要享大壽數，平平安安地歸到你列祖那裏，被人埋葬。

至於你，你要平平安安歸到你祖先那裏，必享長壽，被人埋葬。

至於你，你要平平安安歸到你祖先那裏，必享長壽，被人埋葬。

而你必享長壽，安然離世。

你必得享長壽，被人埋葬，平平安安地回到你列祖那裡。

至於你呢，你卻要安安然然地歸回你列祖那裏，得享長壽，受人埋葬。

至於你，你必平平安安地歸到你祖先那裡，你必盡享天年，才被安葬。

爾必安然歸祖、考終而葬、

爾必享遐齡、安然返本、而葬焉。

爾必安然歸祖、享大壽終而葬、

You, however, will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age.

But you will die in peace. You will join the members of your family who have already died. And you will be buried when you are very old.

As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.

( As for you, you will die in peace and be buried at a ripe old age.)

You will come to the grave at a ripe age, Like the stacking of grain in its season.

After this, Abraham buried his wife Sarah in the cave of the field of Machpelah facing Mamre( that is, Hebron), in the land of Canaan.

“ I am a stranger and a foreign resident among you; give me a burial site among you so that I may bury my dead out of my sight.”

These are all the years of Abraham’s life that he lived, 175 years.Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and satisfied with life; and he was gathered to his people.Then his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, facing Mamre,

Observe the blameless person, and look at the upright; For the person of peace will have a future.

“ Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace, so your eyes will not see all the evil which I am bringing on this place and its inhabitants.” ’ ” And they brought back word to the king.

Now when David reached old age, he made his son Solomon king over Israel.

For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear an oath by no one greater, He swore by Himself,saying,“ indeed I will greatly bless you and I will greatly multiply you.”And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.For people swear an oath by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath serving as confirmation is an end of every dispute.In the same way God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, confirmed it with an oath,so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us.This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil,

There they buried Abraham and his wife Sarah, there they buried Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and there I buried Leah—

‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah opposite Mamre, which Abraham had bought along with the field as a burial site from Ephron the Hittite.

If a man fathers a hundred children and lives many years, however many they may be, but his soul is not satisfied with good things and he does not even have a proper burial, then I say,“ Better the miscarriage than he,

All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own.And indeed if they had been thinking of that country which they left, they would have had opportunity to return.But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.

When you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, just as Aaron your brother was;

All that generation also were gathered to their fathers; and another generation rose up after them who did not know the Lord, nor even the work which He had done for Israel.

Then Isaac breathed his last and died, and was gathered to his people, an old man of ripe age; and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

And Job died, an old man and full of days.

But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will rest and rise for your allotted portion at the end of the age.”

Then he commanded them and said to them,“ I am about to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

Then he died at a good old age, full of days, riches, and honor; and his son Solomon reigned in his place.

“ Aaron will be gathered to his people; for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because you rebelled against My command at the waters of Meribah.

The righteous person perishes, and no one takes it to heart; And devout people are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous person is taken away from evil,He enters into peace; They rest in their beds, Each one who walked in his upright way.

“ At that time,” declares the Lord,“ they will bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its leaders, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem from their graves.They will spread them out to the sun, the moon, and to all the heavenly lights, which they have loved, which they have served, which they have followed, which they have sought, and which they have worshiped. They will not be gathered nor buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.

then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

For David, after he had served God’s purpose in his own generation, fell asleep, and was buried among his fathers and underwent decay;
