亞伯蘭謂所多瑪王曰、我指天地之主宰、至高天主耶和華而誓、

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to make a promise to the Lord. He is the Most High God. He is the Creator of heaven and earth.

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have sworn to the Lord God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand unto Jehovah, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have raised my hand in an oath to Yahweh, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth,

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

But Abram replied to the king of Sodom,“ I raise my hand to the LORD, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow

Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

我听见那身穿细麻衣、在河水之上的人说话；他向天举起左右手，指着永远活着的那一位起誓说：“要经过一期、二期、半期，当圣洁子民的力量被打碎时，这一切事就会成就。”

接着，我所看见的那位站在海上和地上的天使，向天举起他的右手，指着活到永永远远的那一位，就是创造了天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物的那一位，起誓说：“不再有时间了！

大地和其中所充满的，世界和住在其中的，都属于耶和华，

愿他们知道，你——名为耶和华的，唯独你是全地之上的至高者。

亚伯拉罕在比尔-谢巴栽种了一棵柽柳树，在那里呼求耶和华永恒之神的名。

那些日子结束了，我尼布甲尼撒举目望天，我的理智回到我身上。我就颂赞至高者，称赞、尊崇永远活着的那一位——他的权柄是永远的权柄，他的国度世世代代长存！

现在，请你在这里指着神向我起誓，你绝不以诡诈对待我，以及我的子孙后裔；我怎样以恩慈对待你，你也要怎样对待我和你所寄居的这地。”亚伯拉罕说：“我愿意起誓。”同时，亚伯拉罕因亚比米勒的仆人们抢占了一口水井，指责了亚比米勒。亚比米勒说：“我不知道谁做了这事，你也没有告诉过我，我今天才听到。”于是亚伯拉罕牵来牛羊，送给亚比米勒，他们两人就立了约。亚伯拉罕又从羊群中分出七只小母羊另放一处。亚比米勒问亚伯拉罕：“你分出来另放一处的这七只小母羊，是作什么的呢？”亚伯拉罕说：“你要从我手中接受这七只小母羊，作我挖掘这口井的见证。”因此那地方被称为比尔-谢巴，因为他们两人在那里起了誓。

亚伯兰九十九岁时，耶和华向亚伯兰显现，对他说：“我是全能的神，你当行在我面前，作纯全人。

那至高至尊、永远长存、名为至圣者的如此说：“我住在至高至圣的地方，也与灵里痛悔的人和谦卑的人同在，使谦卑的人灵里复苏，使痛悔的人心里复苏。

他祝福亚伯兰，说：“愿至高神、天地的主宰祝福亚伯兰！至高神是当受颂赞的！他把你的敌人交在你的手中。”亚伯兰就把所有的十分之一献给他。
