亞比米勒取了些牛羊、僕婢，送給亞伯拉罕，又把亞伯拉罕的妻子撒拉還給他。

亞伯蘭有很多牲畜和金銀。

他擁有羊群、牛群和很多僕人，非利士人就嫉妒他。

他的家產有七千隻羊、三千匹駱駝、五百對牛、五百頭母驢，並且有許多僕婢。這人在全東方的人中至為尊貴。

耶和華厚厚地賜福我主人，他就昌大起來；耶和華又賜給他羊群、牛群、金銀、僕婢、駱駝和驢。

我擁有牛、驢、羊群、僕婢，現在派人來報告我主，希望得到你的歡心。’”

那天晚上，雅各在那裡過夜。然後從他所擁有的牲畜中，取出一部分，作為給他哥哥以掃的禮物，就是母山羊二百隻、公山羊二十隻、母綿羊二百隻、公綿羊二十隻、哺乳的母駱駝三十匹，各帶著駒子，母牛四十頭、公牛十頭、母驢二十頭、公驢十頭。

願我們的倉庫滿溢，各種糧食不缺；願我們牧場上的羊群，孳生千萬。願我們的牛群滿馱貨物；城牆沒有缺口，沒有人出去爭戰（“願我們⋯⋯出去爭戰”或譯：“願我們的牛群多生多養，沒有流產，沒有死掉”），在我們的街上也沒有呼叫的聲音。

這樣，耶和華後來賜給約伯的福比先前更多：他有一萬四千隻羊、六千匹駱駝、一千對牛、一千頭母驢。
