我说，你们当顺着圣灵而行，就不放纵肉体的情欲了。

我说，你们要顺着圣灵而行，绝不可满足肉体的情欲。

因此，我劝你们行事为人要顺从圣灵的引导，这样就不会放纵罪恶本性的私欲。

我是说，你们应当顺着圣灵行事，这样就一定不会去满足肉体的私欲了。

所以我说：你们应当顺着圣灵行走，这样就绝不会去满足肉体的欲望了；

我說，你們當順着聖靈而行，就不放縱肉體的情慾了。

吾故曰：爾等亟應努力於靈修、而不可縱情恣慾也。

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

So I say, live by the Holy Spirit’s power. Then you will not do what your desires controlled by sin want you to do.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.

I say, then, walk by the Spirit and you will certainly not carry out the desire of the flesh.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

[ This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (niv)

Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation— but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. (niv)

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factionsand envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (niv)

Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (niv)

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practicesand have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. (niv)

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. (niv)

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. (niv)

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. (niv)

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.For everything in the world— the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life— comes not from the Father but from the world. (niv)

All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. (niv)

These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. (niv)

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do— living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. (niv)

As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. (niv)

Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. (niv)

What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. (niv)

For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit. (niv)

In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, (niv)

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, (niv)

What I mean, brothers and sisters, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they do not; (niv)
