Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Long ago, Scripture knew that God would make the Gentiles right with himself. He would do this by their faith in him. He announced the good news ahead of time to Abraham. God said,“ All nations will be blessed because of you.”( Genesis 12:3; 18:18; 22:18)

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying,“ In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

What’s more, the Scriptures looked forward to this time when God would make the Gentiles right in his sight because of their faith. God proclaimed this good news to Abraham long ago when he said,“ All nations will be blessed through you.”

Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and proclaimed the gospel ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.

祝福你的，我要祝福他；詛咒你的，我要詛咒他。地上萬族都必因你而蒙福。」

地上萬國都必因你的後裔而蒙福，因為你聽從了我的話。」

就是說，我們認為：人被稱為義，是藉著信，與律法上的行為無關。難道神只是猶太人的神嗎？不也是外邦人的神嗎？是的，他也是外邦人的神，既然神真是一位；他要使受割禮的人因信稱義，也要使沒有受割禮的人因信稱義。

第七位天使吹響號角，天上就有大聲音說：「世上的國度已經屬於我們主和他的基督；他將做王，直到永永遠遠！」

實際上，我們也是得以聽到福音的，就像他們那樣；但是他們所聽的話語對他們沒有益處，因為他們沒有因著信，與所聽的相配合。

連先知們的話也與此相符，正如經上所記：『此後我將要回來，重建大衛倒塌的居所；我要重建它的破損之處，把它重新豎立起來。這樣，其餘的人，就是所有被稱為我名下的外邦人，都會尋求主。這是自古以來，讓人知道這些事的主說的。』

權杖必不離開猶大，王杖必不離他兩腳之間，直到「細羅」來到，萬民都要歸順他。

然而，經上的話把萬物都圈在罪孽之下，為要使這因信耶穌基督而來的應許，賜給那些相信的人。

我必使後裔從雅各而出，使我眾山的繼承人從猶大而來；我的選民必擁有那地，我的僕人們必居住在那裡。

我必使你的後裔增多，如同天上的星辰，我必把所有這些地都賜給你的後裔；地上萬國都必因你的後裔而蒙福，

原來經上有話對法老說：「我興起你，正是為此：好讓我藉著你來顯出我的大能，使我的名傳遍天下。」

亞伯拉罕必定成為又大又強的國，地上萬國都必因他而蒙福。

神的各樣應許，原是對亞伯拉罕和他的一個後裔說的。神並沒有說「後裔們」，像是指著許多人；而是說「你的一個後裔」，像是指著一個人，這一位就是基督。

你的後裔必如同地上的塵土；你必向東南西北擴展；地上萬族都必因你和你的後裔而蒙福。

信我的人，就如經上所說的，從他的腹中將要湧流出活水的江河。」

並且你從年幼就知道了聖經，這聖經能使你有智慧，藉著在基督耶穌裡的信仰，以至於救恩。聖經都是神所默示的，對於教導、責備、規正、在義中的訓練都是有益處的，要使屬神的人完備，為一切美善的工作，裝備齊全。

那麼，我們要怎麼說呢？那原來沒有追求義的外邦人，卻得到了義，就是因信而得的義；

事實上，大衛指著他說：『我常常看見主在我面前；因他在我的右邊，我就不至於搖動。為此我內心歡喜，口舌快樂，並且我的肉身也要安居在盼望中。

然而經上是怎麼說的呢？「把女僕和她的兒子趕出去！因為女僕的兒子，絕不可以與自由女人的兒子一同做繼承人。」

在他的日子裡，義人必興盛，並有豐盛的平安，如月長存。

這地必被再次焚燒，其中還會有十分之一的人存留，就像黃連樹和橡樹被砍伐，其中還會有樹樁存留；聖潔的後裔就是這樹樁。」

等我把你的敵人放在你的腳下做腳凳。』

經上不是說，基督是大衛的後裔，是出自大衛的故鄉伯利恆嗎？」

另有一段經文也說：「他們將看見自己所刺的那一位。」
