For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

All who depend on obeying the law are under a curse. It is written,“ May everyone who doesn’t continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law be under God’s curse.”( Deuteronomy 27:26)

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written,“ Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”

But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say,“ Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.”

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed.

For all who are of works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written:“ Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.”

原來屬肉體的思想是敵對神的，因為它不服從神的律法，其實也不能服從；

我們知道，律法上的一切話都是對律法之下的人講的，好堵住每個人的口，使全世界的人都在神的審判之下有罪，因為沒有一個人本於律法上的行為在神面前被稱為義；原來，藉著律法，只能對罪有真正的認識。

但如果你們偏待人，就是犯罪，並被律法指證是違犯律法的人。因為那遵守整個律法的人，只在一條上跌倒，就成了干犯所有律法的了。原來那位說過「不可通姦」的，也說過「不可殺人」。你即使不通姦，卻殺人，你還是成了違犯律法的人。

因為罪的工價就是死；但神的恩賜，在我們的主基督耶穌裡，卻是永恆的生命。

不過我們知道：人被稱為義不是本於律法上的行為，而是藉著信耶穌基督。於是我們信了基督耶穌，為要因信基督稱義，而不是本於律法上的行為，因為沒有一個人本於律法上的行為會被稱為義。

事實上，律法帶來了震怒，所以哪裡沒有律法，哪裡也就沒有過犯。

那時王要對在左邊的人說：『你們這些被詛咒的人！離開我！進到那已經為魔鬼和他的使者們所預備好的永遠的火裡去！

我從前活在律法之外，但是誡命一來，罪就活起來了，我卻死了。於是我發現，那本該帶來生命的誡命，它卻導致了死亡。事實上，罪藉著誡命趁機欺騙了我，並藉著誡命殺了我。因此，律法是神聖的，誡命也是神聖、公義、美善的。那麼，是那美善的導致了我的死嗎？絕對不是！而是罪。罪為要顯出是罪，就藉著那美善的帶來了我的死，使罪藉著誡命變得極其邪惡。

耶穌還對某些自以為義而藐視其他人的，講了這個比喻：「有兩個人上聖殿去禱告。一個是法利賽人，另一個是稅吏。那法利賽人站著，向自己禱告這些話：『神哪，我感謝你，因為我不像其他人那樣：勒索、不義、通姦，也不像這個稅吏。我一週禁食兩次，並奉獻我所有收入的十分之一。』「那稅吏卻遠遠地站著，甚至不敢舉目望天，可是捶著胸說：『神哪，你寬恕我這個罪人吧！』

所以我要折辱聖所的首領們，把雅各交於滅絕，把以色列交於凌辱。」
