For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

Among them we too all previously lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest.

Therefore remember that previously you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called“ Uncircumcision” by the so called“ Circumcision” which is performed in the flesh by human hands—remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin;

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them,“ You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance;and do not assume that you can say to yourselves,‘ We have Abraham as our father’; for I tell you that God is able, from these stones, to raise up children for Abraham.

although I myself could boast as having confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he is confident in the flesh, I have more reason:

And He said to me,‘ Go! For I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”

They answered and said to Him,“ Abraham is our father.” Jesus* said to them,“ If you are Abraham’s children, do the deeds of Abraham.But as it is, you are seeking to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God; this Abraham did not do.You are doing the deeds of your father.” They said to Him,“ We were not born as a result of sexual immorality; we have one Father: God.”

Now the woman was a Gentile, of Syrophoenician descent. And she repeatedly asked Him to cast the demon out of her daughter.And He was saying to her,“ Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”But she answered and* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.”

And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples,“ Why is your Teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?”

And the Lord sent you on a mission, and said,‘ Go and completely destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are eliminated.’

For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,
