As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

我们已经说了，现在又说，若有人传福音给你们，与你们所领受的不同，他就应当被咒诅。

我已言之、今復言之、若有人傳福音於爾、異於爾所受者、則當被阿拿提瑪、

吾儕前已言之、茲予重復言之、倘有人授爾等以福音、異乎爾等嚮之所受者、則斯人之服咒咀也必矣。

I have already said it. Now I will say it again. Suppose someone preaches a“ good news” that is different from what you accepted. That person should be cursed by God.

As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

I say again what we have said before: If anyone preaches any other Good News than the one you welcomed, let that person be cursed.

As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!

As we have said before, even now I say again: if anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!

As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

As we have said before, so say I now again, If any man preacheth unto you any gospel other than that which ye received, let him be anathema.

As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone preaches to you a gospel contrary to what you received, a curse be on him!

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.

See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder,and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says,“ Let us follow other gods”( gods you have not known)“ and let us worship them,”you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul.It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying,“ Let us go and worship other gods”( gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known,gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other),do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them.You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people.Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

This will be my third visit to you.“ Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”I already gave you a warning when I was with you the second time. I now repeat it while absent: On my return I will not spare those who sinned earlier or any of the others,

Was I fickle when I intended to do this? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say both“ Yes, yes” and“ No, no”?

Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
