第聞素窘逐我儕者、今宣昔所殘賊之道、

特聞我素窘逐彼者、以所殘賊之道、今傳為福音、

第聞素窘逐之者、窘逐之者原文作窘逐我儕者今傳昔所殘害之道、

第聞昔日之逼辱同人、摧殘聖道者、今已憣然歸正、而弘揚聖道矣；

They only heard the report:“ The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

They only heard others say,“ The man who used to attack us has changed. He is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

They only were hearing it said,“ He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

All they knew was that people were saying,“ The one who used to persecute us is now preaching the very faith he tried to destroy!”

They simply kept hearing,“ He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith he once tried to destroy.”

but they only kept hearing,“ The man who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy.”

But they were hearing only,“ He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”

but they only heard say, He that once persecuted us now preacheth the faith of which he once made havoc;

末了也显给我看；我如同未到产期而生的人一般。我原是使徒中最小的，不配称为使徒，因为我从前逼迫神的教会。然而，我今日成了何等人，是蒙神的恩才成的，并且他所赐我的恩不是徒然的。我比众使徒格外劳苦；这原不是我，乃是神的恩与我同在。

亚拿尼亚回答说：“主啊，我听见许多人说，这人怎样在耶路撒冷多多苦害你的圣徒，

神的道兴旺起来；在耶路撒冷门徒数目加增的甚多，也有许多祭司信从了这道。

我从前是亵渎神的，逼迫人的，侮慢人的；然而我还蒙了怜悯，因我是不信不明白的时候而做的。并且我主的恩是格外丰盛，使我在基督耶稣里有信心和爱心。“基督耶稣降世，为要拯救罪人。”这话是可信的，是十分可佩服的。在罪人中我是个罪魁。然而，我蒙了怜悯，是因耶稣基督要在我这罪魁身上显明他一切的忍耐，给后来信他得永生的人作榜样。

就在各会堂里宣传耶稣，说他是神的儿子。

扫罗到了耶路撒冷，想与门徒结交，他们却都怕他，不信他是门徒。
