我儕何可復犯爾誡、與行事可憎之族聯姻乎、若然、爾豈不怒我、盡行翦滅、以致靡遺、無得免者、

我儕豈可復違主命、與行此可憎事之諸族通嫁娶、苟如是行、必干主震怒、滅我淨盡、不遺一人得免、

Shall we then break your commands again and intermarry with the peoples who commit such detestable practices? Would you not be angry enough with us to destroy us, leaving us no remnant or survivor?

Suppose we don’t obey your commands again. And suppose we continue to marry people who commit sins that you hate. If we do, you will be so angry with us that you will destroy us. You won’t leave us even a few people. You won’t leave anyone alive.

shall we break your commandments again and intermarry with the peoples who practice these abominations? Would you not be angry with us until you consumed us, so that there should be no remnant, nor any to escape?

But even so, we are again breaking your commands and intermarrying with people who do these detestable things. Won’t your anger be enough to destroy us, so that even this little remnant no longer survives?

在何烈山、爾干厥怒、耶和華欲殲滅爾。

成聖之民、與斯土之人雜處、娶其女為妻為媳、民長牧伯、先犯此罪。

爾勿禱我、我盡滅之、塗抹其名於天下、我將使爾裔、較彼昌大眾多。

猶大人娶亞實突、亞捫、摩押女、其子所言者、亞實突及諸族方言參半、惟猶大方言彼則不能、我知而責之、或詛、或撻、或拔其髮、使指上帝而誓、必不以女嫁異邦人、不娶其女為妻為媳、告之曰、以色列王所羅門、娶於異邦而犯罪、昔所羅門在列國中、無王可比、上帝愛之、使治以色列、然異邦之女、陷之於罪。豈可任爾、娶異邦人陷於重罪、干犯上帝哉。

爾當區別、離此會眾、俟我速滅之、

然則何以言之、得毋久於為惡、益彰其恩之洪乎、

離此會眾、我將速滅之、二人俯伏。

民曰、如萬有之主耶和華、不俾我眾猶有孑遺、則必若所多馬、蛾摩拉矣。

爾勿阻我、我怒甚烈、盡滅斯族、昌熾爾裔、以成大邦。

後耶穌遇之於殿、曰、爾得愈、勿復犯罪、恐遭患尤甚、

爾與斯土之民、不可立約、必摧其壇、汝不遵命、果何為哉。

我曰、必使之散處四方、而人忘其所自、然我慮敵驕肆、佯不知我所作為、反自伐其大能、謂非耶和華所行。

如有人知救主耶穌基督道、不為污世所囿、復因憧擾而受陷、則其人之後患、較先時尤劇、既識道矣、猶棄所受之聖命、孰若不識道義之為美、

爾散於列邦、中有遺民、得脫鋒刃、我使之然。

毋與其人立約、毋事其上帝。

耶和華又曰、我僕雅各家毋畏、予左右爾、我昔散爾於列邦、列邦雖滅、而爾不滅、乃我降災、責爾獨寛。

今我上帝耶和華暫施其恩、拯我遺民、使恆居聖所、錫我寵光、不為人奴、保我生命、
