Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Joshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, began to work. So did Joshua, the son of Jozadak. They began to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. The prophets of God were right there with them. They were helping them.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and the prophets of God were with them, supporting them.

Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jehozadak responded by starting again to rebuild the Temple of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them and helped them.

天使又指給我看：大祭司約書亞站在耶和華的使者面前；撒但也站在約書亞的右邊，與他作對。耶和華向撒但說：「撒但哪，耶和華責備你！就是揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華責備你！這不是從火中抽出來的一根柴嗎？」約書亞穿着污穢的衣服站在使者面前。使者吩咐站在面前的說：「你們要脫去他污穢的衣服」；又對約書亞說：「我使你脫離罪孽，要給你穿上華美的衣服。」 (cunpt)

那時，撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞，並剩下的百姓，都聽從耶和華－他們神的話和先知哈該奉耶和華－他們神差來所說的話；百姓也在耶和華面前存敬畏的心。耶和華的使者哈該奉耶和華差遣對百姓說：「耶和華說：我與你們同在。」耶和華激動猶大省長撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯和約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞，並剩下之百姓的心，他們就來為萬軍之耶和華－他們神的殿做工。這是在大流士王第二年六月二十四日。 (cunpt)

這月二十四日，耶和華的話二次臨到哈該說：「你要告訴猶大省長所羅巴伯說：我必震動天地。我必傾覆列國的寶座，除滅列邦的勢力，並傾覆戰車和坐在其上的。馬必跌倒，騎馬的敗落，各人被弟兄的刀所殺。萬軍之耶和華說：我僕人撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯啊，到那日，我必以你為印，因我揀選了你。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」 (cunpt)

我們並不是轄管你們的信心，乃是幫助你們的快樂，因為你們憑信才站立得住。 (cunpt)

他對我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。大山哪，你算甚麼呢？在所羅巴伯面前，你必成為平地。他必搬出一塊石頭，安在殿頂上。人且大聲歡呼說：『願恩惠恩惠歸與這殿！』」耶和華的話又臨到我說：「所羅巴伯的手立了這殿的根基，他的手也必完成這工，你就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你們這裏來了。 (cunpt)

取這金銀做冠冕，戴在約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞的頭上， (cunpt)

耶和華說：「所羅巴伯啊，雖然如此，你當剛強！約撒答的兒子大祭司約書亞啊，你也當剛強！這地的百姓，你們都當剛強做工，因為我與你們同在。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。這是照着你們出埃及我與你們立約的話。那時，我的靈住在你們中間，你們不要懼怕。」萬軍之耶和華如此說：「過不多時，我必再一次震動天地、滄海，與旱地。我必震動萬國；萬國的珍寶必都運來，我就使這殿滿了榮耀。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」萬軍之耶和華說：「銀子是我的，金子也是我的。這殿後來的榮耀必大過先前的榮耀；在這地方我必賜平安。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」 (cunpt)
