This is the answer they gave us:“ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, one that a great king of Israel built and finished.

Here is the answer they gave us. They said,“ We serve the God of heaven and earth. We are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago. The great King Solomon built it and finished it.

And this was their reply to us:‘ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the house that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.

“ This was their answer:‘ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the Temple that was built here many years ago by a great king of Israel.

This is the reply they gave us: We are the servants of the God of the heavens and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.

So they answered us as follows, saying,‘ We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, which a great king of Israel built and finished.

岂不晓得你们献上自己作奴仆，顺从谁，就作谁的奴仆吗？或作罪的奴仆，以至于死；或作顺命的奴仆，以至成义。

以色列人出埃及地后四百八十年，所罗门作以色列王第四年西弗月，就是二月，开工建造耶和华的殿。所罗门王为耶和华所建的殿，长六十肘，宽二十肘，高三十肘。殿前的廊子长二十肘，与殿的宽窄一样，阔十肘；又为殿做了严紧的窗棂。靠着殿墙，围着外殿内殿，造了三层旁屋；下层宽五肘，中层宽六肘，上层宽七肘。殿外旁屋的梁木搁在殿墙坎上，免得插入殿墙。建殿是用山中凿成的石头。建殿的时候，锤子、斧子，和别样铁器的响声都没有听见。

“凡在人面前认我的，我在我天上的父面前也必认他；

若是你们以侍奉耶和华为不好，今日就可以选择所要侍奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边所侍奉的神呢？是你们所住这地的亚摩利人的神呢？至于我和我家，我们必定侍奉耶和华。”

但我断不以别的夸口，只夸我们主耶稣基督的十字架；因这十字架，就我而论，世界已经钉在十字架上；就世界而论，我已经钉在十字架上。

我也要在君王面前论说你的法度，并不至于羞愧。

所罗门就在耶路撒冷、耶和华向他父大卫显现的摩利亚山上，就是耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾场上、大卫所指定的地方预备好了，开工建造耶和华的殿。所罗门作王第四年二月初二日开工建造。所罗门建筑神殿的根基，乃是这样：长六十肘，宽二十肘，都按着古时的尺寸。殿前的廊子长二十肘，与殿的宽窄一样，高一百二十肘；里面贴上精金。大殿的墙都用松木板遮蔽，又贴了精金，上面雕刻棕树和链子；

“我又告诉你们，凡在人面前认我的，人子在神的使者面前也必认他；
