此外還有商人、阿拉伯諸王和國內各總督送給他的金銀。

哈大底謝的屬下見自己敗於以色列人，便向大衛求和，臣服於他。從此，亞蘭人不敢再支援亞捫人了。

所羅門統治幼發拉底河西面所有的國家，從提弗薩直到迦薩，四境安寧。

王該知道，如果這城建好，城牆完工，他們將不再進貢、交賦、納稅，王的稅收必受虧損。

天下的君王都紛紛來朝見所羅門，聆聽上帝賜給他的智言慧語。他們年年都帶來禮物，有金銀器皿、衣服、兵器、香料和騾馬。

上帝幫助他攻打非利士人和住在姑珥·巴力的阿拉伯人及米烏尼人。亞捫人向他進貢，烏西雅的名聲傳到埃及，因他極其強大。

我們也通知你們不可向這座上帝殿的祭司、利未人、歌樂手、殿門守衛、殿役或其他工人徵收賦稅。

大衛在以東駐兵，以東人都臣服他。耶和華使他無往而不勝。

還派軍駐守亞蘭國的大馬士革，亞蘭人臣服大衛，向他進貢。耶和華使大衛無往而不勝。

一些非利士人向他進貢禮物和銀子，阿拉伯人也給他送來公綿羊和公山羊各七千七百隻。

我已把你們腳掌將踏之地都賜給了你們，正如我對摩西的應許。從南部的曠野直到北部的黎巴嫩，從東部的幼發拉底大河直到西部的地中海，包括赫人居住的全境，都將是你們的領土。
