Then they gave money to the masons and carpenters, and gave food and drink and olive oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre, so that they would bring cedar logs by sea from Lebanon to Joppa, as authorized by Cyrus king of Persia.

The people gave money to those who worked with stone and those who worked with wood. They gave food and drink and olive oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre. Then those people brought cedar logs down from Lebanon to the Mediterranean Sea. They floated them down to Joppa. Cyrus, the king of Persia, authorized them to do it.

So they gave money to the masons and the carpenters, and food, drink, and oil to the Sidonians and the Tyrians to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the grant that they had from Cyrus king of Persia.

The logs were brought down from the Lebanon mountains and floated along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Joppa, for King Cyrus had given permission for this.

他们把秤好了的银子交在管理耶和华殿督工的手里，督工就支付给木匠和建造耶和华殿的工人，瓦匠和石匠，又买木料和凿成的石头，用来修理耶和华殿的破坏之处，以及其他修理殿的各项费用。

我的仆人必把这木料从黎巴嫩运到海里，我会把它们扎成筏子浮在海上，运到你告诉我的地方，在那里拆开，你就可以收取；你也要照我的心愿做，把食物给我的家。”于是希兰照所罗门的心愿，给他香柏木和松木；所罗门给希兰二万歌珥麦子，二十歌珥捣成的油，作他家的食物。所罗门每年都是这样给希兰。

约拿却起身，逃往他施去躲避耶和华。他下到约帕，遇见一条船要往他施去。约拿付了船费，就上船，与船上的人同往他施，为要躲避耶和华。

看哪，我必给你仆人，就是砍伐树木的伐木工，二万歌珥压碎的小麦，二万歌珥大麦，二万罢特酒，二万罢特油。”推罗王希兰写信回答所罗门说：“耶和华因为爱他的百姓，所以立你作他们的王。”又说：“创造天和地的耶和华—以色列的上帝是应当称颂的！他赐给大卫王一个有智慧的儿子，使他有见识，有聪明，可以为耶和华建造殿宇，又为自己的王国建造宫殿。“现在我派一个精巧聪明的人去，他是我的师父户兰，是但支派一个妇人的儿子，父亲是推罗人。他善用金、银、铜、铁、石、木，和紫色、蓝色、细麻和朱红色线制造各物，并精于雕刻，又能设计各样交给他做的图案。我派这人与你的巧匠和你父亲—我主大卫的巧匠一同做工。我主所说的小麦、大麦、酒、油，请运来给众仆人。我们必照你所需用的，从黎巴嫩砍伐树木，扎成筏子，浮海运到约帕；你可以从那里运到耶路撒冷。”

“波斯王居鲁士如此说：耶和华天上的上帝已将地上万国赐给我，又委派我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇。你们中间凡作他子民的，可以上犹大的耶路撒冷去，重建耶和华—以色列上帝的殿，他是在耶路撒冷的上帝；愿上帝与这人同在。凡存留的人，无论寄居何处，那地的人要用金银、财物、牲畜帮助他，还要为耶路撒冷上帝的殿甘心献上礼物。”

交在管理耶和华殿督工的手里，由他们支付给在耶和华殿里做工的人，好修理殿的破坏之处，就是木匠、工人和瓦匠，又买木料和凿成的石头，来整修殿宇。

犹大和以色列地都与你交易；他们用米匿的小麦、饼、蜜、油、乳香换你的货物。

王与耶何耶大把银子交给耶和华殿里办事的人，他们就雇了石匠、木匠重修耶和华的殿，又雇了铁匠、铜匠整修耶和华的殿。工人做工，修理工程在他们手中渐渐完成，他们将上帝的殿修理得如同从前一样，非常坚固。

现在你要派人往约帕去，请一位称为彼得的西门来。他住在一个皮革匠西门的家里，房子就在海边。”

居鲁士王元年，王降旨论到在耶路撒冷上帝的殿，要建造这殿作为献祭之处，坚固它的根基。殿高六十肘，宽六十肘，要用三层凿成的石头，一层木头，经费可出于王的库房。至于上帝殿的金银器皿，就是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷的殿中掠取带到巴比伦的，必须归还，带回耶路撒冷的殿中，各按原处放在上帝的殿里。”
