Then they gave money to the masons and carpenters, and gave food and drink and olive oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre, so that they would bring cedar logs by sea from Lebanon to Joppa, as authorized by Cyrus king of Persia.

The people gave money to those who worked with stone and those who worked with wood. They gave food and drink and olive oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre. Then those people brought cedar logs down from Lebanon to the Mediterranean Sea. They floated them down to Joppa. Cyrus, the king of Persia, authorized them to do it.

So they gave money to the masons and the carpenters, and food, drink, and oil to the Sidonians and the Tyrians to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the grant that they had from Cyrus king of Persia.

Then the people hired masons and carpenters and bought cedar logs from the people of Tyre and Sidon, paying them with food, wine, and olive oil. The logs were brought down from the Lebanon mountains and floated along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Joppa, for King Cyrus had given permission for this.

They gave money to the stonecutters and artisans, and gave food, drink, and oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre, so they would bring cedar wood from Lebanon to Joppa by sea, according to the authorization given them by King Cyrus of Persia.

他们将称好的银子交给修耶和华殿的督工。督工把报酬转交给在殿里工作的木匠、建筑工人、泥水匠和石匠，购买修耶和华殿用的木料和凿好的石头，并支付其他的修殿费用。

我的工人会将这些木料从黎巴嫩扎成木筏，经海道运到你指定的地点。木筏拆散以后，你就可以点收了。你也要成全我的心愿，供应我家食粮。”于是，希兰供应所罗门需用的香柏木和松木，所罗门每年供应希兰四百四十万升麦子和四千四百升橄榄油。

可是，约拿却起身逃往他施，想躲避耶和华。他到了约帕港，看见一艘要开往他施的船，就付了船费，上了船，想和众人一起去他施，好躲避耶和华。

我会供给你的伐木工人四百四十万升小麦、四百四十万升大麦、四十四万升酒和四十四万升油。”泰尔王希兰写信给所罗门说：“耶和华爱祂的子民，所以立你做他们的王。创造天地的以色列的上帝耶和华当受称颂！祂赐给大卫王一个有智慧、谋略和悟性的儿子来为耶和华建殿，也为他自己建造王宫。现在，我派聪明能干的巧匠户兰去你那里。他的母亲是但支派的人，父亲是泰尔人。他精于雕刻和设计，善用金银铜铁和木石制造物品，又会编织紫色、蓝色、朱红色的布和细麻布。你可以让他与你的工匠和你父亲大卫的工匠一起工作。现在，请我主把许诺的小麦、大麦、油和酒运给仆人。我们会在黎巴嫩砍伐你需要的木材，扎成木筏，经海道运到约帕，你可以从那里将木材转运到耶路撒冷。”

“波斯王塞鲁士如此说，‘天上的上帝耶和华已把天下万国都赐给我，祂吩咐我在犹大的耶路撒冷为祂建造殿宇。你们当中凡是耶和华的子民，都可以去犹大的耶路撒冷，为住在耶路撒冷的以色列的上帝耶和华建殿，愿上帝与他们同在！凡留下不回国的人，无论住在哪里，都要用金银、财物和牲畜帮助同区那些将要回国的人，此外还要为耶路撒冷的上帝的殿献上自愿献的礼物。’”

然后把银子交给负责修理耶和华殿的督工，他们就可以购买木料和凿好的石头，雇用木匠、建筑工人和石匠来修理耶和华的殿。

犹大和以色列也是你的客商，他们用米匿的麦、饼、蜜、油和香料与你交换货物。

王与耶何耶大把银子交给耶和华殿里的办事人员，他们就雇用石匠、木匠、铁匠和铜匠来整修耶和华的殿。工人辛勤整修，工程进展顺利，上帝的殿恢复了原貌，而且非常坚固。

如今你要派人去约帕，请一个叫西门·彼得的人来。他住在一个叫西门的皮革匠家里，房子在海边。”

“塞鲁士王元年，塞鲁士王就耶路撒冷的上帝之殿降下谕旨，要重建这殿作献祭之处，要奠立殿的地基。殿要高二十七米、宽二十七米，每三层巨石加铺一层木料，经费由国库支付。尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷上帝的殿里掳到巴比伦的金银器皿，都要归还到耶路撒冷上帝的殿里，放回原处。”
