With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:“ He is good; his love toward Israel endures forever.” And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

They sang to the Lord. They praised him. They gave thanks to him. They said,“ The Lord is good. His faithful love to Israel continues forever.” All the people gave a loud shout. They praised the Lord. They were glad because the foundation of the Lord’ s temple had been laid.

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord,“ For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

With praise and thanks, they sang this song to the Lord:“ He is so good! His faithful love for Israel endures forever!” Then all the people gave a great shout, praising the Lord because the foundation of the Lord’s Temple had been laid.

They sang with praise and thanksgiving to the Lord:“ For He is good; His faithful love to Israel endures forever.” Then all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord because the foundation of the Lord’s house had been laid.

With antiphonal response they sang, praising and glorifying the LORD:“ For he is good; his loyal love toward Israel is forever.” All the people gave a loud shout as they praised the LORD when the temple of the LORD was established.

They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to Yahweh,“ For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised Yahweh, because the foundation of Yahweh’s house had been laid.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for[ he is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD,[ saying], For[ he is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD[ is] good; for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:[ and] of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise[ and] to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.

And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy[ endureth] for ever;

But the mercy of the LORD[ is] from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

So stood the two[ companies of them that gave] thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:

Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done[ it]: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.Who[ is] this King of glory? Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he[ is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Thou shalt arise,[ and] have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great[ is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy,[ is] the LORD of hosts: the whole earth[ is] full of his glory.

And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,Having the glory of God: and her light[ was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;And had a wall great and high,[ and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are[ the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long[ blast] with the ram’s horn,[ and] when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

And his mercy[ is] on them that fear him from generation to generation.

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall[ any] word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.
