撒拉鐵子所羅把伯、約薩撻子耶書亞、肇興工作、建殿於耶路撒冷、上帝之先知勗之。

約薩撻子耶書亞及其同宗、咸為祭司、暨撒拉鐵子所羅把伯、及其同宗、築以色列族上帝之壇、燔祭於上、遵上帝僕摩西之律例、

使者示我以象、見祭司長約書亞、侍於耶和華天使前、撒但立於右以禦之、

耶書亞、巴尼、示哩比、雅民、亞谷、沙比太、戶地雅、馬西雅、其利大、亞薩哩亞、約撒八、哈難、比來亞、與利未人、訓迪斯民、使明律例、民立其所。

地有木臺、選士以士喇立其上、馬得底、示馬、亞奈雅、烏哩亞、希勒家、馬西雅、侍於右、比太亞、米沙利、馬其亞、哈順、哈八大拿、撒加利亞、米書闌、侍於左、

嫠婦棄婦、勿娶、必娶以色列族之處女、或他祭司之嫠婦、

嗣後民長就我曰、斯土之民、迦南人、赫人、比哩洗人、耶布士人、亞捫人、摩押人、埃及人、亞摩哩人、俱作不善、以色列族眾、祭司、及利未人、與居與處、則清濁不判。

會中之婦亦當嚴正、勿興謠諑、謹事而信、

耶路撒冷之先知、更堪痛疾、行淫詭譎、俾作惡者流、厥志孔強、不悛厥行、予鑒察之、視若所多馬蛾摩拉之人無異。

以利年邁、聞其子、於以色列族中所行、亦聞其與會幕前從事之女同寢、謂之曰、我聞於民、爾行不端、爾作此曷故。我所風聞非善、爾使耶和華之民犯罪。

耶書亞生約雅金、約雅金生以利亞實、以利亞實生耶何耶大、

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾曹叛道、使眾陷罪、爽利未之約、不從我道、偏視我法、故我使眾、藐視爾曹、

耶和華曰、先知祭司、所行誕妄、在我殿宇、惡跡已彰、

亞薩哩亞生西勑雅、西勑雅生約撒答。當時尼布甲尼撒奉耶和華命、徙猶大耶路撒冷民、約撒答亦已遷徙。

祭司長必娶處女。嫠婦、棄婦、娼妓、淫奔、勿娶、惟宗族之處女則可、勿使其苗裔玷於族中、蓋我耶和華已俾其成聖。○

祭司長、以利亞實孫、耶何耶大子、娶和倫人撒八拉女、故我逐之、

祭司為聖、以奉上帝、故娼妓淫奔棄婦勿娶。
