王公哀慘、牧伯驚駭、庶民喪膽、我視其所行、降以重罰、使知我乃耶和華。

王者哀慘、牧伯驚駭、國民手俱戰慄、手俱戰慄或作已皆喪膽我必視其行為以待之、循其惡習以鞫之、彼則知我乃主、

The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them.“‘ Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

“‘ The king will be filled with sadness. The princes will lose all hope. The hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will punish them based on how they have lived. I will judge them by their own standards. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’ ”

因為，你們用什麼標準來評斷，也會同樣地被評斷；你們用什麼量器來衡量，也會同樣地被衡量。

耶和華顯明自己，施行公正；惡人因自己手所做的陷入圈套。希加永細拉

可是你照著頑固和不悔改的心，為那震怒的日子，就是神公義審判顯現的日子，給自己積蓄了震怒。神將照著各人的行為回報各人：對那些恆心行善，尋求榮耀、尊貴、不朽的，就以永恆的生命回報他們；而對那些營私爭競、不肯信從真理、反信從不義的，就以震怒和憤恨回報他們。神要把患難和困苦加給一切作惡之人的靈魂，先是猶太人的，後是外邦人的；而把榮耀、尊貴、平安賜給所有做美善事的人，先是猶太人，後是外邦人。

要知道，那不施憐憫的人，要受毫無憐憫的審判；憐憫勝過審判。

惡人卻有禍了，他們必遭災難，因為他們手所做的必回報到自己身上。
