我要向你们射出饥荒的毒箭，破坏和毁灭你们，并且使饥荒越来越严重，断绝你们的粮源。

那时，我要将灭人、使人饥荒的恶箭，就是射去灭人的，射在你们身上，并要加增你们的饥荒，断绝你们所倚靠的粮食；

我向灭亡的人射出饥荒的恶箭，将它们射出，毁灭你们；那时，我要加重你们的饥荒，断绝你们粮食的供应。

俾爾饑饉、日漸匱乏、絶爾餱糧、滅爾生命、如亡以毒矢、

我必遣饑饉之惡矢以毀爾、使爾饑饉日甚一日、絕爾所賴之糧、

When I shoot at you with my deadly and destructive arrows of famine, I will shoot to destroy you. I will bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of food.

I will shoot at you with my deadly, destroying arrows of hunger. I will shoot to kill. I will bring more and more hunger on you. I will cut off your food supply.

又说：“人子啊，我要断绝耶路撒冷的粮源，叫他们焦虑地吃限量的饼，恐惧地喝限量的水。

“‘我要使灾祸连连临到他们，我的箭都射向他们。他们必饱受饥荒之苦，被瘟疫和灾祸吞噬，被猛兽和毒蛇袭击。

撒玛利亚被困后，城里陷入严重饥荒，以致一个驴头可卖九百克银子，二百克鸽子粪可卖十一克银子。

主——万军之耶和华要从耶路撒冷和犹大拿去众人倚靠的一切：粮食、水、

祂弯弓搭箭，把我当箭靶，

祂准备好了夺命的兵器，火箭已在弦上。

我要断绝你们的粮源。那时候，十个妇女将用一个烤炉烤饼，按定量分饼给你们，你们吃却吃不饱。

你必不惧怕黑夜的恐怖，或白日的飞箭，或黑暗中横行的瘟疫，或正午肆虐的灾难。尽管千人扑倒在你左边，万人扑倒在你右边，你必安然无恙。

“人子啊，若有国家犯罪背叛我，我必伸手断绝他们的粮源，使饥荒遍地，毁灭人和牲畜。
