祭司要取些赎罪祭牲的血抹在圣殿的门柱、祭台的四角和内院门口的柱子上。

王站在自己的位置上，在耶和华面前立约，要全心全意地跟随耶和华，遵从祂的一切诫命、法度和律例，履行约书上的规定。

耶稣说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，不从门进羊圈而从别处爬进去的人就是贼，是强盗。从门进去的才是羊的牧人，看门的会给他开门，羊也听他的声音。他按名字叫自己的羊，把它们领出来。

祂稍往前走，俯伏在地上祷告：“我父啊！如果可以，求你撤去此杯。然而，愿你的旨意成就，而非我的意愿。”

所罗门当着以色列会众的面，站在耶和华的坛前，向天伸出双手，祷告说：“以色列的上帝耶和华啊，天上地下没有神明可以与你相比！你向尽心遵行你旨意的仆人守约，施慈爱。

我们传扬基督，用各样的智慧劝诫、教导众人，使他们在基督里长大成熟，好把他们带到上帝面前。
