若以產業錫於臣僕、則為彼有、越屆豁免之年、乃歸於君、惟君之業、必歸於子、

如王以土地錫於臣僕、則其土必歸臣僕、越屆禧年、乃歸君王、爰及子孫、

如君以地賜臣僕、則歸臣僕、至於禧年仍歸君、君之地業、必歸其子、

If, however, he makes a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, the servant may keep it until the year of freedom; then it will revert to the prince. His inheritance belongs to his sons only; it is theirs.

But suppose he makes a gift from his share of land to one of his servants. Then the servant may keep it until the Year of Jubilee. After that, it will be returned to the prince. His property may be handed down only to his sons. It belongs to them.

But if he makes a gift out of his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty. Then it shall revert to the prince; surely it is his inheritance— it shall belong to his sons.

But if the prince gives a gift of land from his inheritance to one of his servants, the servant may keep it only until the Year of Jubilee, which comes every fiftieth year. At that time the land will return to the prince. But when the prince gives gifts to his sons, those gifts will be permanent.

But if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it will belong to that servant until the year of freedom, when it will revert to the prince. His inheritance belongs only to his sons; it is theirs.

But if he gives a gift from his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be his until the year of release; then it shall return to the prince. His inheritance shall be only his sons’; it shall belong to them.

But if he gives a gift of some of his inheritance to one of his servants, it shall be his until the year of liberty, after which it shall return to the prince. But his inheritance shall belong to his sons; it shall become theirs.

But if he give of his inheritance a gift to one of his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty; then it shall return to the prince; but as for his inheritance, it shall be for his sons.

你們要以第五十年為聖年，在全地向所有的居民宣告自由。這是你們的禧年，各人的產業要歸還自己，各人要歸回自己的家。

然而經上是怎麼說的呢？是說：「把使女和她兒子趕出去！因為使女的兒子絕不能與自由婦人的兒子一同承受產業。」弟兄們，這樣看來，我們不是使女的兒女，而是自由婦人的兒女了。

他們對他說：『主啊，他已經有十錠了。』主人說：『我告訴你們，凡有的，還要給他；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。

「天國又好比一個人要出外遠行，就叫了僕人來，把他的家業交給他們。他按着各人的才幹，給他們銀子：一個給了五千，一個給了二千，一個給了一千，就出外遠行去了。那領五千的立刻拿去做買賣，另外賺了五千。那領二千的也照樣另賺了二千。但那領一千的去掘開地，把主人的銀子埋藏了。過了許久，那些僕人的主人來了，和他們算賬。那領五千的又帶着另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千。請看，我又賺了五千。』主人說：『好，你這又善良又忠心的僕人，你在少許的事上忠心，我要派你管理許多的事，進來享受你主人的快樂吧！』那領二千的也進前來，說：『主啊，你交給我二千。請看，我又賺了二千。』主人說：『好，你這又善良又忠心的僕人，你在少許的事上忠心，我要派你管理許多的事，進來享受你主人的快樂吧！』那領一千的也進前來，說：『主啊，我知道你，你是個嚴厲的人：沒有種的地方也要收割，沒有播的地方也要收穫，我就害怕，去把你的一千銀子埋藏在地裏。請看，你的銀子在這裏。』他的主人回答他說：『你這又惡又懶的僕人，你既知道我沒有種的地方也要收割，沒有播的地方也要收穫，就該把我的銀子放給兌換銀錢的人，到我來的時候可以連本帶利收回。把他這一千奪過來，給那有一萬的。因為凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。
