The prince will enter and leave with the people on these occasions.

民进入，王也要在民中进入；民出去，王也要一同出去。

The prince is to be among them, going in when they go in and going out when they go out.

The prince must be among them. He must go in when they go in. And he must leave when they leave.

When they enter, the prince shall enter with them, and when they go out, he shall go out.

When the people enter, the prince will enter with them, and when they leave, he will leave.

And when they go in, the prince shall go in among them; and when they go out, he shall go out.

The prince shall then be in their midst. When they go in, he shall go in; and when they go out, he shall go out.

And the prince, when they go in, shall go in in the midst of them; and when they go forth, they shall go forth together.

When the people enter, the prince will enter with them, and when they leave, he will leave.

And the prince in the midst of them, when they go in, shall go in; and when they go forth, shall go forth.

When they come in, the prince will come in with them, and when they go out, he will go out.

The prince shall go in with them when they go in. When they go out, he shall go out.

My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: I walked among the crowds of worshipers, leading a great procession to the house of God, singing for joy and giving thanks amid the sound of a great celebration!

They feasted and drank in the Lord’s presence with great joy that day. And again they crowned David’s son Solomon as their new king. They anointed him before the Lord as their leader, and they anointed Zadok as priest.

Then David said to the whole assembly,“ Give praise to the Lord your God!” And the entire assembly praised the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and they bowed low and knelt before the Lord and the king.

Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices to the Lord.King Solomon offered a sacrifice of 22,000 cattle and 120,000 sheep and goats. And so the king and all the people dedicated the Temple of God.

Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Ephesus. This is the message from the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lampstands:

And the king went up to the Temple of the Lord with all the people of Judah and Jerusalem, along with the priests and the Levites— all the people from the greatest to the least. There the king read to them the entire Book of the Covenant that had been found in the Lord’s Temple.The king took his place of authority beside the pillar and renewed the covenant in the Lord’s presence. He pledged to obey the Lord by keeping all his commands, laws, and decrees with all his heart and soul. He promised to obey all the terms of the covenant that were written in the scroll.

I was glad when they said to me,“ Let us go to the house of the Lord.”And now here we are, standing inside your gates, O Jerusalem.Jerusalem is a well built city; its seamless walls cannot be breached.All the tribes of Israel— the Lord’s people— make their pilgrimage here. They come to give thanks to the name of the Lord, as the law requires of Israel.

And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment.So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams’ horns.But as the Ark of the Lord entered the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looked down from her window. When she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she was filled with contempt for him.They brought the Ark of the Lord and set it in its place inside the special tent David had prepared for it. And David sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings to the Lord.When he had finished his sacrifices, David blessed the people in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.Then he gave to every Israelite man and woman in the crowd a loaf of bread, a cake of dates, and a cake of raisins. Then all the people returned to their homes.

Then all the men returned to Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat leading them, overjoyed that the Lord had given them victory over their enemies.They marched into Jerusalem to the music of harps, lyres, and trumpets, and they proceeded to the Temple of the Lord.

But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

Now I have built a glorious Temple for you, a place where you can live forever!”Then the king turned around to the entire community of Israel standing before him and gave this blessing:“ Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, who has kept the promise he made to my father, David. For he told my father,

They read from the Book of the Law of God and clearly explained the meaning of what was being read, helping the people understand each passage.Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who were interpreting for the people said to them,“ Don’t mourn or weep on such a day as this! For today is a sacred day before the Lord your God.” For the people had all been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law.

The entire assembly worshiped the Lord as the singers sang and the trumpets blew, until all the burnt offerings were finished.Then the king and everyone with him bowed down in worship.
