Then the man brought me to the main hall and measured the jambs; the width of the jambs was six cubits on each side.

Next he brought me into the great hall and measured the pilasters; on each side the width of the pilaster was 10 1/2 feet.

外殿和至圣所各有一个门。

所罗门为耶和华所建的殿，长二十七公尺，宽九公尺，高十三公尺半。

门廊深四公尺；墙柱厚一公尺；门廊是朝向殿内的。

并且建造在使徒和先知的根基上，基督耶稣自己就是奠基石，整座建筑都靠着他连接配合，渐渐增长成为在主里面的圣所。你们在他里面也一同被建造，成为神藉着圣灵居住的所在。

得胜的，我要叫他在我神的圣所里作柱子，他决不再出去，我也要把我神的名，和我神的城的名，就是那从天上、从我神那里降下来的新耶路撒冷，以及我的新名，都写在他身上。

他进了内殿，量了门口的墙柱，各厚一公尺；入口宽三公尺，门的内墙各宽三公尺半。

也就像活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督献上蒙神悦纳的灵祭。

那对我说话的天使拿着一根金的芦苇，要量那城、城门和城墙。

我听见有大声音从宝座那里发出来，说：“看哪！神的帐幕在人间，他要与人同住，他们要作他的子民。神要亲自与他们同在，要作他们的神。

外殿的门框是正方形的；在至圣所前面的门框，也是一样。

有一根好像量尺的芦苇赐给了我，又有话说：“你起来，把神的圣所和祭坛，以及在里面敬拜的人，都量一量、数一数。但圣所外面的院子，不要量它，因为它已经给了外族人，他们要践踏圣城四十二个月。

告诉他说：‘万军之耶和华这样说：看哪！有一个人名叫大卫的苗裔，他必从自己的地方生长起来，并要建造耶和华的殿。他必建造耶和华的殿，必得尊荣；他必坐在宝座上执掌王权，又必在他的宝座上作祭司，使两者之间和谐共济。’”
