他到了朝東的門，就上臺階，量這門的門檻，寬一竿；這門檻寬一竿。

然后，他带我到殿的东门，走上石阶，来到门口。他量了门洞，宽一竿。

他到了朝東的門，就上門的臺階，量門的這檻，寬一竿；又量門的那檻，寬一竿。

然後，他帶我到殿的東門，走上石階，來到門口。他量了門洞，寬一竿。

他到了朝東的大門，就上門的臺階，量門的一個門檻，寬一竿。又量另一個門檻，寬一竿。

遂至東門、拾級登階、量其門閾、廣計一竿、其次亦廣一竿、

至於東門、拾級登階、量其門閾、深計一杖、

至於向東之門、登其階級、量其門閾、深深原文作廣一竿、又量一閾、深深原文作廣一竿、量其門閾深一竿又量一閾深一竿或作量內外之門閾皆深一竿

Then he went to the east gate. He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate; it was one rod deep.

Then the man went to the east gate. He climbed its steps. He measured the gateway. It was one rod wide.

Then he went into the gateway facing east, going up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, one reed deep.

Then he went over to the eastern gateway. He climbed the steps and measured the threshold of the gateway; it was 10 1/2 feet front to back.

Then he came to the gate that faced east and climbed its steps. He measured the threshold of the gate; it was 10½ feet deep— one threshold was 10½ feet deep.

Then he went to the gate which faced east, went up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, one rod in width; and the other threshold was one rod in width.

Then he went to the gateway which faced east; and he went up its stairs and measured the threshold of the gateway, which was one rod wide, and the other threshold was one rod wide.

Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the steps thereof: and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed broad; and the other threshold, one reed broad.

Then he came to the gate that faced east and climbed its steps. He measured the threshold of the gate; it was 10 feet deep— the first threshold was 10 feet deep.

Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate,[ which was] one reed broad; and the other threshold[ of the gate, which was] one reed broad.

Then he went to the gate facing east. He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate as 10½ feet deep.

Then he came to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its steps. He measured the threshold of the gate, one reed wide; and the other threshold, one reed wide.

以後，他帶我到一座門，就是朝東的門。

然後他領我到耶和華殿的內院。看哪，在耶和華殿門口、走廊和祭壇中間，約有二十五個人背向耶和華的殿，面向東方，向東拜太陽。

靈將我舉起，帶我到耶和華聖殿面向東方的東門。看哪，門口有二十五個人。我見其中有百姓的領袖押朔的兒子雅撒尼亞和比拿雅的兒子毗拉提。

他量外院朝北的門的長和寬。

從前這些人看守朝東的王門，如今是利未人營中的守衛。

要登七個臺階才能上到這門，前面有廊子；牆柱上雕刻着棕樹，這邊一棵，那邊一棵。

看哪，殿外四圍有牆。那人手拿丈量的蘆葦竿，長六肘，每肘再加一掌。他量圍牆，寬一竿，高一竿。

在殿右邊當中的廂房有門，可以從螺旋梯上到中層，再從中層上到第三層。

出去到欣嫩子谷、哈珥西的門口，在那裏宣告我所吩咐你的話，

又有守衛房，每間長一竿，寬一竿，守衛房之間相隔五肘。挨着通往殿之門走廊的門檻，一竿。

主耶和華如此說：「內院朝東的門，在六個工作的日子必須關閉；惟有安息日和初一要敞開。王從外面要由門的走廊進入，站在門框旁邊；祭司要為他預備燔祭和平安祭，王要在門的門檻那裏敬拜，然後退出。這門直到晚上不可關閉。

因他們使自己的門檻挨近我的門檻，使自己的門框挨近我的門框，又使他們與我之間僅隔一牆，並且行可憎的事，玷污我的聖名，所以我發怒滅絕他們。

在東西南北，四方都有守衛。

在你的院宇一日，勝似千日；寧可在我上帝的殿中看門，不願住在惡人的帳棚裏。

耶和華的榮耀離開殿的入口處，停在基路伯之上。

他又帶我回到聖所朝東的外門，那門關閉了。

接續他的是音麥的兒子撒督在自己房屋的對面修造。接續他修造的是東門的守衛、示迦尼的兒子示瑪雅。

他帶我回到殿門，看哪，有水從殿的門檻下面往東流出，因為這殿是朝東的。水從殿的側面，就是右邊，從祭壇的南邊往下流。

王奉獻甘心祭，就是向耶和華甘心獻的燔祭或平安祭時，當有人為他開朝東的門。他就獻上燔祭和平安祭，與安息日所獻的一樣，然後退出。他出去之後，當有人將門關閉。」
