Moses then said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord spoke of when he said:“‘ Among those who approach me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored.’” Aaron remained silent. (niv)

as the Lord directed him through Moses. This was to remind the Israelites that no one except a descendant of Aaron should come to burn incense before the Lord, or he would become like Korah and his followers. (niv)

The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it.The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out. (niv)

Then he said to me,“ The north and south rooms facing the temple courtyard are the priests’ rooms, where the priests who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings. There they will put the most holy offerings— the grain offerings, the sin offerings and the guilt offerings— for the place is holy. (niv)

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (niv)
