其地昔為荒墟、今則有人居處、集自列邦、聚貨財、豢牲畜、居其高處、我必攻之、刦掠其物、

昔斯地變為荒邱、今則有人居處、來自列邦、聚貨財、養牲畜、安居斯土、我攻伐之、攘奪其物、

昔荒蕪、今有人居處之地、其民集自列邦、養牲貿易、貿易或作獲財安居斯地、斯地原文作地之高處爾欲攻斯民、攘奪刧掠其物、

I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.”

I will rob those people. I’ll steal everything they have. Then I’ll turn my attention to the destroyed houses where people are living again. They have returned there from other nations. Now they are rich. They have plenty of livestock and all kinds of goods. They are living in Israel. It is the center of the earth.’

to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth.

I will go to those formerly desolate cities that are now filled with people who have returned from exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder, for the people are rich with livestock and other possessions now. They think the whole world revolves around them!’

因此，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必把埃及地賜給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，他把埃及的財富帶走，搶其中的財為擄物，奪其中的貨為掠物，作他軍兵的報酬。

我要差派他去攻擊一個不敬虔的國，吩咐他去攻擊我惱怒的子民，擄去掠物，搶奪擄物，把他們踐踏，像街上的泥土一樣。

過了許多日子，你必被徵點出戰；在以後的年間，你必來攻擊那脫離刀劍的地，就是那從列邦聚集回來的人所住的地；你必來攻擊以色列這些久已荒涼的山；他們是從萬族中領出來的，都在那裡安然居住。

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘在這荒廢、沒有人煙、沒有牲畜的地方，和這地所有城中，必再有牧人放羊的牧場。在山地、高地和南地的各城，在便雅憫地，在耶路撒冷周圍的各處，以及在猶大的各城裡，必再有牧人數點經過手下的羊群。’”這是耶和華說的。

我要向他們吹哨子，招聚他們，因為我救贖了他們。他們的人數要增多，像從前一樣。雖然我把他們散播在萬民中，他們仍要在遠方記念我；他們與他們的子孫都要存活，並且歸回。我要使他們從埃及地歸回，從亞述地招聚他們，帶他們到基列地和黎巴嫩山，卻仍不夠容納他們。

於是耶和華的使者說：“萬軍之耶和華啊！你不憐憫耶路撒冷和猶大的城鎮，要到幾時呢？這七十年來，你一直惱怒它們。”

我必剪除亞實突的居民，以及亞實基倫掌權的領袖；我必伸手攻擊以革倫，把餘剩的非利士人都滅絕。’這是主耶和華說的。

但是，吞吃你的，必被吞吃；你所有的敵人全都要被擄走；搶掠你的，必成為被搶掠之物；掠奪你的，我必使他們成為被掠奪之物。

“‘主耶和華這樣說：我潔淨你們，使你們脫離一切罪孽的日子，我必使城市有人居住，廢墟可以重建。從前所有路過的人都看為荒涼之地，現在卻必再可以耕種。他們必說：“先前這荒涼之地，現在竟像伊甸園一樣；這些廢棄、荒涼、毀壞了的城市，現在卻成了堅固城，有人居住了。”

迦勒又說：“看哪，有人從高地下來，又有一隊從米惡尼尼橡樹的路徑而來。”

“刀劍哪，醒來吧！攻擊我的牧人，我的同伴，（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告。）要擊打牧人，羊群就分散；我也要轉過手來，攻擊小羊。

你們說：“這地荒涼，沒有人煙，也沒有牲畜，是交在迦勒底人手中的。”但將來在這地上，必有人買賣田地。在便雅憫地，在耶路撒冷周圍的各處，在猶大各城，以及在山地、高地和南地的各城，人必用銀子買賣田地，在地契上簽名，把契封好，又請證人作證；因為我必使他們被擄的人歸回。’”這是耶和華的宣告。

因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者說：“哎！我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的仇敵報復。我必把手轉過來攻擊你；我要煉除你的渣滓，如同用鹼來煉一樣，我要除去你的一切雜質。

你要再宣告：‘萬軍之耶和華這樣說：我的城鎮必再昌盛繁榮，耶和華必再憐憫錫安，必再揀選耶路撒冷。’”
