其地昔為荒墟、今則有人居處、集自列邦、聚貨財、豢牲畜、居其高處、我必攻之、刦掠其物、

昔斯地變為荒邱、今則有人居處、來自列邦、聚貨財、養牲畜、安居斯土、我攻伐之、攘奪其物、

昔荒蕪、今有人居處之地、其民集自列邦、養牲貿易、貿易或作獲財安居斯地、斯地原文作地之高處爾欲攻斯民、攘奪刧掠其物、

I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.”

I will rob those people. I’ll steal everything they have. Then I’ll turn my attention to the destroyed houses where people are living again. They have returned there from other nations. Now they are rich. They have plenty of livestock and all kinds of goods. They are living in Israel. It is the center of the earth.’

I will go to those formerly desolate cities that are now filled with people who have returned from exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder, for the people are rich with livestock and other possessions now. They think the whole world revolves around them!’

所以主耶和華說，『我要把埃及賜給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，他必擄掠埃及的財富為戰利品，犒賞自己的軍隊。

萬軍之耶和華說：「在這一片荒涼、人畜絕跡的地方，在它所有城邑的周圍必再有供牧人放羊的草場。在山區、丘陵和南地的城邑，以及便雅憫、耶路撒冷周圍和猶大的城邑必有人清點羊群。這是耶和華說的。」

「我必吹哨聚集他們，因為我救贖了他們，他們必像從前一樣人數眾多。雖然我把他們分散到列國，他們必在遠方想起我，他們及其子女必得以倖存，並且回到故土。我必從埃及領他們回到故土，從亞述招聚他們，領他們到基列和黎巴嫩，那裡將不夠他們居住。

耶和華的天使說：「萬軍之耶和華啊，你向耶路撒冷和猶大的城邑發怒已經七十年了，還要多久你才會憐憫他們呢？」

我要剷除亞實突的居民和亞實基倫的掌權者，伸手攻擊以革倫，剩下的非利士人都要滅亡。這是主耶和華說的。」

然而，毀滅你們的必被毀滅，與你們為敵的必被擄走，擄掠你們的必被擄掠，搶奪你們的必被搶奪。

萬軍之耶和華說：「刀劍啊，醒來吧，要攻擊我的牧人和同伴，要擊打牧人，羊群將四散，我必出手攻擊小羊。

耶利米啊，你們說這地方落在了迦勒底人手中，變得一片荒涼，人獸絕跡。但將來這地方必再有人置買田產。在便雅憫境內，耶路撒冷周圍和猶大的城邑，以及山區、丘陵、南部的城邑中，必有人置買田地，簽訂地契，蓋封印，請人作證，因為我必使被擄的人回到故土。這是耶和華說的。』」

所以，主——萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者說：「我要向我的敵人報仇雪恨。我必攻擊你，用鹼煉淨你的渣滓，除盡你的雜質。

你還要宣告，萬軍之耶和華說，『我的城邑必再次繁榮昌盛，耶和華必再次安慰錫安，揀選耶路撒冷。』」
