Then he asked me,“ Son of man, can these bones become living people again?”“ O Sovereign Lord,” I replied,“ you alone know the answer to that.”

He asked me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I said,“ Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

The Lord asked me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I said,“ Lord and King, you are the only one who knows.”

And he said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered,“ O Lord God, you know.”

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I replied,“ Lord GOD, only you know.”

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered,“ Lord God, You Yourself know.”

And He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered,“ O Lord GOD, You know.”

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, thou knowest.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I replied,“ Lord God, only You know.”

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I said to him,“ Sovereign Lord, you know.”

He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I answered,“ Lord Yahweh, you know.”

Jesus told her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”

For just as the Father gives life to those he raises from the dead, so the Son gives life to anyone he wants.

Look now; I myself am he! There is no other god but me! I am the one who kills and gives life; I am the one who wounds and heals; no one can be rescued from my powerful hand!

Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead.

That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him,“ I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

The Lord gives both death and life; he brings some down to the grave but raises others up.

In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.

Why does it seem incredible to any of you that God can raise the dead?

Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked,“ Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?”He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.

Oh, that they were wise and could understand this! Oh, that they might know their fate!
