But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.

But suppose you do warn that sinful person. You tell them to change their ways. But they do not change. Then they will die because they have sinned. But you will have saved yourself.

But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are[ these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told[ you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I[ am] pure from the blood of all[ men].

How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard[ him];

And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not[ himself], neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many[ stripes].

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

( For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,[ that they are] the enemies of the cross of Christ:Whose end[ is] destruction, whose God[ is their] belly, and[ whose] glory[ is] in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

For this is the will of God,[ even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:That no[ man] go beyond and defraud his brother in[ any] matter: because that the Lord[ is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:To the one[ we are] the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who[ is] sufficient for these things?For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into[ his] lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and[ out of] the prophets, from morning till evening.And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with[ their] eyes, and hear with[ their] ears, and understand with[ their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and[ that] they will hear it.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all[ men].

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews[ that] Jesus[ was] Christ.And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook[ his] raiment, and said unto them, Your blood[ be] upon your own heads; I[ am] clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more[ shall not] we[ escape], if we turn away from him that[ speaketh] from heaven:

I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am[ he], ye shall die in your sins.

Correction[ is] grievous unto him that forsaketh the way:[ and] he that hateth reproof shall die.

He, that being often reproved hardeneth[ his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
