Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

所以你要對他們說，主耶和華如此說：你們吃帶血的物，仰望偶像，並且殺人流血，你們還能得這地為業嗎？

所以你要對他們說，主耶和華如此說：你們吃帶血的食物，向偶像舉目，並且流人的血，你們還能得這地為業嗎？

但你要告訴他們，主耶和華這樣說，『你們吃帶血的肉，仰賴偶像，又殺人流血，怎能擁有這片土地呢？

因此，你要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：你們吃帶血的祭肉，舉目仰望你們的偶像，並且流人的血，你們還可以得這地為業嗎？

因此呢、你要對他們說；主永恆主這麼說：你們喫帶血之物，舉目瞻仰你們的偶像，並且殺人流人的血，你們還能擁有這地以為業麼？

故當告之曰、主耶和華云、肉尚有血、爾曹食之、瞻爾偶像、流人之血、豈得據有斯土乎、

爾當告之云、主耶和華曰、肉常有血、爾曹食之、崇敬偶像、殘害人命、豈能據有斯土、

故爾當告之曰、主天主如是云、肉尚有血、爾曹食之、又舉目仰望偶像、殺人流血、豈能據斯地為業乎、

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Since you eat meat with the blood still in it and look to your idols and shed blood, should you then possess the land?

So tell them,‘ The Lord and King says,“ You eat meat that still has blood in it. You worship your statues of gods. You commit murder. So should you still possess the land?

Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: You eat flesh with the blood and lift up your eyes to your idols and shed blood; shall you then possess the land?

So tell these people,‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You eat meat with blood in it, you worship idols, and you murder the innocent. Do you really think the land should be yours?

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: You eat meat with blood in it, you look to your idols, and you shed blood. Should you then receive possession of the land?

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ You eat meat with the blood in it, raise your eyes to your idols as you shed blood. Should you then possess the land?

“ Therefore say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ You eat meat with blood, you lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood. Should you then possess the land?

Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes unto your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

Therefore say to them: This is what the Lord God says: You eat meat with blood in it, raise your eyes to your idols, and shed blood. Should you then receive possession of the land?

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: You eat the meat with the blood still in it, pray to your idols, and shed blood. Do you really think you will possess the land?

Therefore tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood. So should you possess the land?

But flesh with the life thereof,[ which is] the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.

Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.

[ And] hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour’s wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,

Her princes in the midst thereof[ are] like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood,[ and] to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.

[ It shall be] a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

And whatsoever man[ there be] of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.For the life of the flesh[ is] in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it[ is] the blood[ that] maketh an atonement for the soul.Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.And whatsoever man[ there be] of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.For[ it is] the life of all flesh; the blood of it[ is] for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh[ is] the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination,

Ye shall not eat[ any thing] with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

[ That] hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour’s wife,

And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars,[ even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood,[ whether it be] of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.Whatsoever soul[ it be] that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,[ As for] the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for[ then] had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all[ things], and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.

But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and[ from] fornication, and[ from] things strangled, and[ from] blood.For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah[ is] exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.

As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written[ and] concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from[ things] offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

And the people flew upon the spoil, and took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew[ them] on the ground: and the people did eat[ them] with the blood.Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the LORD, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed: roll a great stone unto me this day.And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay[ them] here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew[ them] there.

That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
