“ Elam is there, with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword. All who had spread terror in the land of the living went down uncircumcised to the earth below. They bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

“ Elam is also there. Its huge armies lie around the grave of its king. All those who spread terror while they were alive are now dead. They were killed by swords. They had not been circumcised. They went down into the earth below. Their shame is like the shame of others who go down into the grave.

“ Elam is there, and all her multitude around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who went down uncircumcised into the world below, who spread their terror in the land of the living; and they bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

“ Elam lies there surrounded by the graves of all its hordes, those who were slaughtered by the sword. They struck terror in the hearts of people everywhere, but now they have descended as outcasts to the world below. Now they lie in the pit and share the shame of those who have gone before them.

“ Elam is there with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword— those who went down to the underworld uncircumcised, who once spread their terror in the land of the living. They bear their disgrace with those who descend to the Pit.

“ Elam is there and all her hordes around her grave; all of them killed, fallen by the sword, who went down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, who inflicted their terror on the land of the living, and bore their disgrace with those who go down to the pit.

“ There is Elam and all her multitude, All around her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Who caused their terror in the land of the living; Now they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.

俾爾負辱抱愧、以爾所行、使之得慰、

其子乃以攔、亞述、亞法撒、路德、亞蘭、

北方諸王、及西頓民眾在此、彼與被戮者偕下、昔雖剛強、使人恐懼、今蒙羞恥、彼未受割、與戮於刃者同臥、且與入墓之人、同負羞辱、

爾論爾之姊妹、適自取辱、蓋爾所犯之罪、較彼尤為可惡、則彼猶義於爾、既使爾姊妹稱為義、爾當含羞抱愧、

猶大王西底家即位時、耶和華論以攔、諭先知耶利米曰、萬軍之耶和華云、以攔所恃為強之弓、我必折之、使四風自天四方而至、以擊以攔、散於四方、其被逐者、無國不至、耶和華曰、我必使以攔人驚惶於敵、及索其命者之前、降之以災、即我烈怒、使刃隨之、迄於盡滅、耶和華曰、我必設我位於以攔、滅其君王牧伯、然至末日、我必返以攔之俘囚、耶和華言之矣、

人子歟、當為埃及民眾哀悼、且與名邦之女、陷之於地之深處、與入墓之人相偕、

其時、我必使爾與下陰府之人、詣彼古昔之民、居於地之深處、久為荒寂之所、不復有人居於爾中、爾於生人之地、不再獲榮、

彼及其眾之牀、設於被戮者中、其塚遍於四周、皆未受割而戮於刃者、生時令人恐懼、今與入墓之人、同蒙羞恥、以攔列於被戮者中、

爾其指以色列地預言、對山岡澗谷曰、主耶和華云、因爾負異邦之毀辱、我以忿嫉而言、主耶和華曰、我既舉手而言、爾四周之列邦、必負其辱、

維時、示拿王暗拉非、以拉撒王亞畧、以攔王基大老瑪、戈印王提達、

彼不得詣我前、供祭司之職、亦不得近我至聖之物、必因所行可惡之事、而負其辱、

迨彼安居故土、無人使之恐怖、必因干罪於我、懷慚負咎、

我必為之備具名園、彼在其地、不復亡於饑饉、不負列邦之毀辱、

心利諸王、以攔諸王、瑪代諸王、

使水濱諸木、不誇其崇高、其杪不入雲中、得灌溉之強者、不復聳立、俱必死亡、偃於下土、至歸墓之人中、○

爾充於辱、非充於榮、亦當飲之、彰爾不潔、耶和華右手之杯、將傳及爾、污辱加於爾榮、

是日也、主復舉手、救其遺民、使自亞述、埃及、巴忒羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈馬、及諸海島而歸、

其值人不之知、生人之地、亦不得見、

其時、我恍若在以攔州、書珊宮、我於異象中、在烏萊河濱、

武士之強者、必自陰府、與彼及助之者言曰、未受割而戮於刃者、亦下此而靜臥焉、

自我少時、我之列祖勞力而得牛羊、及其子女、彼可恥之物、乃吞噬之、我當蒙羞而臥、以恥蔽身、蓋我與我列祖、自幼迄今、干犯我上帝耶和華、不從其言、

閃之子、以攔、亞述、亞法撒、路德、亞蘭、烏斯、戶勒、基帖、米設、

亦不復聞異邦之毀辱、不復受列國之謗瀆、不復使爾民顚躓、主耶和華言之矣、○
