I made the nations tremble at the sound of its fall when I brought it down to the realm of the dead to be with those who go down to the pit. Then all the trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, the well- watered trees, were consoled in the earth below.

I brought the cedar tree down to the place of the dead. It joined the other nations that go down there. I made the nations on earth shake because of the sound of its fall. Then all the trees of Eden were comforted in the earth below. That included the finest and best trees in Lebanon. And it included all the trees that received plenty of water.

I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall, when I cast it down to Sheol with those who go down to the pit. And all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the world below.

I made the nations shake with fear at the sound of its fall, for I sent it down to the grave with all the others who descend to the pit. And all the other proud trees of Eden, the most beautiful and the best of Lebanon, the ones whose roots went deep into the water, took comfort to find it there with them in the depths of the earth.

I made the nations quake at the sound of its downfall, when I threw it down to Sheol to be with those who descend to the Pit. Then all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all the well-watered trees, were comforted in the underworld.

主耶和華謂推羅曰、爾傾圮時、傷者呻吟、殺戮行於爾中、諸島聞之、豈不震動乎、

松樹與利巴嫩之香柏、因爾而喜曰、自爾傾覆、無人上而伐我、

鄉導呼號、波濤澎湃、

我使其枝繁盛、因而榮美、致上帝囿伊甸諸木、咸嫉妒之、

爾行強暴於利巴嫩、加殘害於羣獸、使之驚怖、且流人血、行強暴於其地其邑、及凡居於其中者、必反乎爾、○

亦將震動萬邦、萬邦所愉悅者將至我必以榮光充斯室、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

是時也、地大震、邑圮十分之一、死者七千人、餘皆恐懼、歸榮於在天之上帝、○

當時其聲震地、但今則告之曰、尚有其一、我不第震地、亦必震天、此所言者、乃指所震必廢、如受造之物、俾不震者恆存、

勇士之干乃朱、戰士之衣乃絳、備戰之日、車之鋼鐵、閃爍若火、松戈揮動、

使水濱諸木、不誇其崇高、其杪不入雲中、得灌溉之強者、不復聳立、俱必死亡、偃於下土、至歸墓之人中、○

雖然、邑中尚有遺民、子女被攜而出、至於爾所、爾曹見其所行所為、則於我降災耶路撒冷之事、而得慰藉、

因馬之多、塵土蔽邑、敵入邑門、如入城缺、是時、因騎兵戰車運車之行聲、城垣震動、

世上諸王、素與行淫而奢華者、見所焚之煙、則為之哭而擗、因其痛苦而懼、則遠立曰、禍哉、禍哉、大巴比倫鞏固之邑乎、半時間爾之鞫至矣、世上諸商、亦為之哭而哀、因不復見有人購其貨也、斯貨也、若金銀、寶石、珠璣、枲布、紫料、絲帛、絳料、香松諸木、象牙諸器、及佳木銅鐵白石諸器、亦有肉桂、荳蔻、香料、香膏、乳香、酒、油、麵、麥、牛、羊、馬、車、及人之身與靈也、爾心所嗜之果已去、爾之珍饈華采皆亡、不復見之、諸商因之致富者、以其痛苦、懼而遠立、哀哭之、曰、禍哉、禍哉、大邑乎、素衣枲布紫絳、飾以金珠寶石者乎、蓋半時間、如此之巨富、成為荒墟也、各舟長與航海者及舟子、並凡恃海為業者、見所焚之煙、皆遠立、呼曰、孰若此大邑乎、又以塵蒙首哭而哀、呼曰、禍哉、禍哉、大邑乎、凡有舟於海者、自其豐厚而致富、半時間成為荒墟矣、天乎、諸聖徒與使徒及先知乎、宜因之而樂、蓋上帝以爾之鞫鞫彼也、○有大力之使者、舉石如大磨、投之於海、曰、巴比倫大邑、將如此猛然被投、不復見矣、鼓琴奏樂品簫吹角之聲、不復聞於爾間、百工不復見於爾間、磨聲不復聞於爾間、燈光不復照於爾間、新郎新婦之聲、不復聞於爾間、蓋爾諸商素為世之尊者、萬國亦以爾巫術而受惑矣、在彼見有諸先知聖徒、及凡世上見殺者之血、

爾之榮耀威嚴、伊甸諸木、孰可比擬、然必偕同伊甸諸木、下墜地之深處、爾必偃於未受割、而戮於刃者之中、法老及其民眾若此、主耶和華言之矣、
