“‘ On that day messengers will go out from me in ships to frighten Cush out of her complacency. Anguish will take hold of them on the day of Egypt’s doom, for it is sure to come.

其意既定、攻擊埃及、使埃及畏猶大聞風戰慄。

地無城郭、吾必侵伐之、民安逸樂、吾必攻擊之、維彼城垣不築、門楗俱無、

惟爾古實族、我必加以利刃、

五人遂往、至拉億、見其邑民、與西頓無異、安居逸樂、無人侵擾、財用富裕、地離西頓甚遠、不與他人通聞問。

昔瀕海之民、惟埃及是誇、古實是恃、後必蒙羞而懹恐、曰、我素望彼、得救於亞述王、今彼敗亡、我何能免於難哉。

海濱君王、將下其位、解其麗服、去其繡裳、戰慄危懼、坐於塗炭、

是事既成、我言已應、則可知先知已至民間。

彼傾圮而呼、聲聞紅海、震動大地。
