耶和華曰、刃臨於迦勒底人、與巴比倫居民、及其牧伯哲士、刃臨於矜誇者、使為愚蠢、刃臨於其武士、使之驚惶、刃臨於其馬與車、暨其中雜族、使若婦女、刃臨於其貨財、使遭攘奪、

我必使埃及地荒蕪、列於荒蕪之國、其邑毀壞、列於毀壞之邑、歷四十年、使埃及人散於異邦、分於列國、

我將激埃及人攻埃及人、兄弟攻兄弟、鄰里攻鄰里、邑攻邑、國攻國、

故摩押為摩押而號咷、必皆號咷、為吉珥哈列設之葡萄餅而哭泣、憂傷不勝、

戰慄持之、痛苦如臨產之婦兮、爾以東風、毀他施之舟兮、

環之而呼、彼已投誠、其堞毀壞、其垣傾圮、斯乃耶和華復仇、爾當復仇於彼、依其所行而報之、

列邦聞之而戰慄、非利士居民因之而悽愴、以東侯伯悚惶、摩押英豪震慴、迦南居民銷鑠、驚駭恐懼、臨及其身、耶和華歟、因爾巨臂、彼皆寂然如石、俟爾之民過焉、俟爾所贖之民過焉、
