人子、當言與爾民、告之曰、如我使一國遭兵刃之災、其國之民、於其中選一人、置為守望者、

爾民猶言、主之道不公平、惟彼之道不公平、

彼忤逆之族、無論聽否、必知有先知於其中、

惟爾人子歟、當告爾民曰、善人若有時犯罪、其前善不能救之、惡人若悔改其惡、其前惡不能害之、善人獲罪之日、不能恃其前善以得生、

惟爾人子歟、爾民在墻壁旁、在室門內議論爾、彼此相語曰、盍來聽有何言由主而出、

故我今日、向爾明證、爾曹有人沈淪、罪不在我、原文作爾眾之血於我無與蓋天主之旨、我悉以告爾、一無所隱、

眾又奏王曰、被遷之猶大民中但以理者、不尊崇王、不尊崇王或作不遵王命不遵王頒詔所設之禁令、一日三次祈禱其天主、

我適觀異象、蒙感於天主之神、神舉我上升、攜我返迦勒底地被擄者之所、於是我所見之異象、離我上升、我以主所示我諸言、告於被擄之眾、

是時必有大難、自生民以來、至於其時、無有若是者、護爾民之大君米迦勒必興起、捍衛爾曹、斯時爾民、凡名錄於册者、必蒙救援、

主諭摩西曰、往哉下山、蓋爾民、即爾所導出伊及地者、皆已敗壞、

如爾民問爾曰、爾為此何意、請以告我、

主諭我曰、爾速起、離此而下、爾之民爾所導出伊及者、已自敗壞、速離我所命之之道、為己鑄偶像、

我至特亞畢、特亞畢又作提勒亞畢就被擄之民、居於迦巴魯河濱者、我居被擄之民所居之處、在彼、在其中驚愕而坐、歷七日、○
