所以，看哪，我必使外國人，就是列國中兇暴的人臨到你這裏；他們要拔刀摧毀你用智慧得來的美物，污損你的榮光。

我必率異邦之強暴者至、拔其鋒刃、爾以巧捷所作奇麗之物、彼必毀之、物著光華者、彼必滅之、

我必使外邦人、列國之強暴者至而攻爾、拔刃毀爾以智慧所得之美物、壞爾之榮華、

I am going to bring foreigners against you, the most ruthless of nations; they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom and pierce your shining splendor.

So I am going to bring outsiders against you. They will not show you any pity at all. They will use their swords against your beauty and wisdom. They will strike down your shining glory.

therefore, behold, I will bring foreigners upon you, the most ruthless of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and defile your splendor.

I will now bring against you a foreign army, the terror of the nations. They will draw their swords against your marvelous wisdom and defile your splendor!

I am about to bring strangers against you, ruthless men from the nations. They will draw their swords against your magnificent wisdom and will pierce your splendor.

Therefore, behold, I am going to bring strangers against you, The most ruthless of the nations. And they will draw their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom And profane your splendor.

必有外族人，就是列國中最強暴的，把它砍下丟棄。它的枝葉落在山上和所有的谷中；它的枝子折斷，落在地上所有的水溝裡；地上的萬族都必走離它的蔭下，把它丟棄。

我必藉著勇士的刀使你的眾民倒下，這些勇士都是列國中最強橫的人。他們必毀滅埃及所誇耀的；埃及的眾民都必消滅。

他和跟隨他的人，就是列國中最強橫的人，必被領進來，毀滅這地；他們必拔出刀來攻擊埃及，使遍地滿了被殺的人。

就是要興起迦勒底人，那殘忍兇暴的民；他們遍行全地，佔領別人的家園。他們恐怖可怕，自以為義，趾高氣揚。他們的馬比豹更快，比晚上的豺狼更猛。他們的騎兵奔馳，自遠而來；他們如鷹飛翔，迅速吞噬。

因此，強大的民族必榮耀你；強暴之國的城也要敬畏你。你作了困乏人的保障、貧窮人急難中的保障、躲暴風雨的避難所、避炎熱的陰涼處；因為強暴者所吹的氣，如同直吹牆壁的暴風。

“耶和華必從遠方，從地極把一國的民帶來，像鷹一般飛來攻擊你；這民的語言你不會聽；這民臉無羞恥，不顧老年人的情面，也不恩待青年人。

後來，我在夜間的異象中繼續觀看，看見有第四隻獸，非常恐怖，十分可怕，極其強壯。牠有大鐵牙；牠吞吃咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踐踏；這獸和前面的各獸都不相同；牠有十個角。

城中如果吹起號角，居民怎會不驚慌呢？災禍如果臨到某城，不是耶和華所降的嗎？

誰策劃這事來攻擊推羅呢？它本是賜人冠冕的城，它的商人是王子，它的商賈是世上的尊貴人。這是萬軍之耶和華所定的旨意，要凌辱那些因榮美而有狂傲，使地上所有的尊貴人被藐視。

“‘因為主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我要使諸王之王，就是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，率領馬匹、戰車、騎兵和一支大軍，從北方來攻擊推羅。他必用刀劍殺戮你那些在陸地居住的人；他必建造圍城的高牆，築起土壘，舉起盾牌攻擊你。他必用攻城鎚攻擊你的城牆，用武器拆毀你的城樓。因為他的馬匹眾多，牠們揚起的塵土必遮蓋你；他進入你的城門，好像人進入已有破口的城，那時，你的城牆必因騎兵、車輪和戰車的響聲而震動。他的馬蹄必踐踏你所有的街道；他必用刀殺戮你的人民；你堅固的柱子必倒在地上。他們必擄去你的財富，以你的貨財為掠物；他們必破壞你的城牆，拆毀你華麗的房屋，把你的石頭、木頭和瓦礫都投在水中。我必使你唱歌的喧聲止息；人也再聽不到你的琴聲。我必使你成為光滑的磐石；你必成為曬網的地方；你必不再被建造，因為我耶和華已經說了。這是主耶和華的宣告。’
