then I will bring you down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of long ago. I will make you dwell in the earth below, as in ancient ruins, with those who go down to the pit, and you will not return or take your place in the land of the living.

So I will bring you down together with those who go down into the grave. The people there lived long ago. You will have to live in the earth below. It will be like living in buildings that were destroyed many years ago. You will go down into the grave along with others. And you will never come back. You will not take your place in this world again.

then I will make you go down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of old, and I will make you to dwell in the world below, among ruins from of old, with those who go down to the pit, so that you will not be inhabited; but I will set beauty in the land of the living.

I will send you to the pit to join those who descended there long ago. Your city will lie in ruins, buried beneath the earth, like those in the pit who have entered the world of the dead. You will have no place of respect here in the land of the living.

then I will bring you down to be with those who descend to the Pit, to the people of antiquity. I will make you dwell in the underworld like the ancient ruins, with those who descend to the Pit, so that you will no longer be inhabited or display your splendor in the land of the living.

我尚存兮、必沐耶和華恩施、是予所知兮。

我萬有之主耶和華曰、儀容赫奕、既經顯著、耶和華特遣予督責虜爾之民、凡犯爾者、與犯其眸子無異、

主耶和華曰、今以色列族、民人星散、我必撫集、俾居我所賜僕雅各之土、恆恭敬予、使異邦目睹、昔在四方、有人凌辱我使、我必降之以災、使我民建室栽園、安居於斯、無人加害、則知我乃耶和華。

暨凡所有、俱生陷於坎阱、為地所覆、絕於會中、

烈日炎熇、驟雨滂沛、亦將覆幬以庇護。

因饑饉匱乏、不勝顦顇、適荒野而求食、或刈藜藿於草叢、或取茢菼之根為食。見逐於人、人呼其後、若叱寇賊。所居險阻湫溢、窟穴磐巖、

置我於暗地、與久死之人無異兮。

徧捫不見、無異瞽者、捫壁而行、雖在日中、亦顛其趾、無異昏暮、雖得福田、不能安享、無異死亡之輩。

迦百農乎、爾曾得升至天、又將推落暗府、

海帶裹首、我下山基、地穴陷余、永不得出、惟我之上帝耶和華、免我死亡、

全能之主耶和華兮、我籲呼於爾毋我遐棄、如不我聽、予恐與就墓之人等兮、

余之中心、憂思盈懷、余之生命、歸墓伊邇兮、余與入土之人無異、余與無力之子相同兮、在群尸之中、展余衾枕、若遭殺戮、置諸塚間、爾不垂念之、爾不護佑之兮、爾置余於深邃之淵、幽暗之所兮、

爾素華靡、鼓琴作樂、今入窀穸、下有尺蠖、上有蚯蚓、爾素為明星、今乃隕自天、昔則敗列國、今乃見滅絕、爾自謂必昇天、位崇隆、越乎至高之星辰、坐峻峭之山、入大會之中、躋北極之所、將及雲霄、比儗至尊。今爾下陰府幽冥之所、見爾者必駭然曰、震動天下、使列國畏懼、荒其四境、毀其邑垣、不反俘囚者、非斯人與。

耶和華曰、斯後我必反雅各俘囚、矜憫以色列全家、大顯我聖名、昔彼犯罪於我、我使蒙羞、後導之自異邦敵國而至、賜彼安居斯土、不復震驚、尊崇乎我、為列邦目睹、

我將使我民以色列族、知我聖名、不復玩瀆、使異邦人、皆知我乃以色列族之聖主耶和華、

雖入陰府、我必取之、雖升天堂、我將降之、

我遭患難、呼籲耶和華、蒙爾憶念、余自陰府號呼、望爾垂聽、

倘耶和華行事維新、使地口翕張、吞噬其眾、生墮坎阱、則其人之欺悔耶和華、由此可見矣。
