He did so in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made, and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places that he had made.He went up to the altar which he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and he ordained a feast for the children of Israel, and went up to the altar, to burn incense.

When all Israel heard that Jeroboam had returned, they sent and called him to the congregation, and made him king over all Israel. There was no one who followed David’s house, except for the tribe of Judah only.

His tabernacle is also in Salem; His dwelling place in Zion.

So the king will desire your beauty, honor him, for he is your lord.The daughter of Tyre comes with a gift. The rich among the people entreat your favor.The princess inside is all glorious. Her clothing is interwoven with gold.She shall be led to the king in embroidered work. The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to you.With gladness and rejoicing they shall be led. They shall enter into the king’s palace.Your sons will take the place of your fathers. You shall make them princes in all the earth.

They will also bring up a company against you, and they will stone you with stones, and thrust you through with their swords.

Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might produce fruit to God.
